[i]Foci[/i] is intentional as it is in reference to any amount of objects to use as a focus, plus I’m being a little liberal with the language usage here. But you are correct in terms of Latin language and my usage of it that it does seem a bit odd. As for the [i]ecclesiae[/i] the intent here is to refer to [i]all[/i] churches under one terminology – all gods, all faith. Since it is comprised of many individual theological institutions I think using it as I have isn’t that offbase but that’s just me.
