Of course the mage's grades would drop and her parents would probably beat her as a result. Along with the changes from Myrilla? She'd probably lose her inheritance and be forced to be some sort of housewife for a deranged but wealthy noble. Germany wasn't a nice place to the ladyfolks. And .. and being married to some guy? She wasn't even attracted to guys! It would be expected of her to have children- the sudden urge to barf ran through her stomach as her eyes began to water. The mention of Lord Kostis being murdered stunned the mage somewhat ... there wouldn't be a chance of getting anything out of this now, right? She wasn't sure exactly what she thought of the guy - she always found herself a little creeped out by him - the mage simply looked to the ground. These two things combined into Selvina and she suddenly felt the urge to cry. Damn Hormones. That's all it was, right? She hadn't been excused from the room however so instead she walked over to the bookshelf, grabbed a random book - a large tome titled A Thousand and One Ways to Defend Yourself and told herself she was reading it through her incredibly blurry vision. Knowledge was power, right? Nothing could hurt her if she was powerful enough. If she knew everything. Fia pouted cheerfully (is that such a thing?) as Livia ruffled her hair, the girl automatically focusing on fixing it. She had effectively taken up Livia's grooming habits in the time she'd been here - moving from never having had a bath to bathing every day. She also ate what Livia ate, dressed similarly to her, and generally copied her mannerisms as she took a sip of the tea that was on her desk. The headmistress always seemed to make one student upset every time they entered the office. But she never paid attention to the girl that did all her paperwork, did she? She ignored the situation in the room pointedly, leaving them to the wrath of the more powerful mage as she brooded a bit. And didn't Livia say she wouldn't be here for much longer? She wouldn't have much time with the Headmistress now, wouldn't she? Maybe it was just her at night, but she swore she felt their bond getting slightly colder, as if heat was seeping out of it. What would happen when it was frozen? Fia looked back towards the headmistress, gulped, and forced herself to speak loud enough to be noticed. "Can we do something fun together for once?" She hadn't really figured out the meaning of the word entirely but it supposedly wasn't just when two people actually enjoyed eachother's company. The kitten purred slightly as she felt herself be petted although it wasn't so intense that she was unable to pay attention. She pouted a bit as she was pushed off however, and watched Lady Sorcha leave the bed ... how would she have to earn pettings? The girl shook her head. She shouldn't concern herself with such things. She needed to think of something her master wanted at the moment - and felt some concern wash over herself as the dragon stated she was hungry and would like to eat. She hadn't actually cooked for the dragon yet, had she? She was a good cook right? But what did the dragon want? It needed to be done fast since her lady was already hungry and she wouldn't want to cause undue duress, right? "O-of course mistress. Let me get you something to eat." The girl seemed to take a mental catalogue of what the dragon had eaten on their trip. Primarily meats with lots of seasoning - perhaps Lady Sorcha would be into something with an Eastern inspiration to it? And lots of it to. Vegetables were eaten sparingly ... She seemed fairly neutral about grains ... had she even eaten a fruit in front of her? Was it intentional or unintentional? The cat started to run through the cabinets as she thought about what the dragon would want - a quick look through the cooling box suggested that the meat in there was spoiled however and hadn't been attended to for some time. But Sorcha was hungry, wasn't she? And there was alcohol, right? A mug of ale was poured and placed on the table as the kitten gave Lady Sorcha a curtsy and addressed her. "Lady Sorcha, this place is largely unstocked. I'll need to make a quick trip ..." The girl's thoughts about what Lady Sorcha would like began to run through her mind as the girl wasn't certain still. A little sweat was on her brow as it was clear that she was putting a lot of thought into this and Lady Sorcha's assessment was likely correct regarding the stress.
