Julan's reaction to Remus' demand mimicked Rhazii's. "But...he is family." He said, though his protest did not seem to have much effect. With all of the tension in the air, he would be surprised if anyone had paid attention to him. For a few moments, it was just silence between them all. Julan was quickly understanding why Janius seemed so intimidated by his father. He had captured a hint of that reason the previous night, but having Janius here now made that even stronger. Surprisingly enough, it was only Kaleeth who seemed to show no fear towards Remus. Whereas Julan looked to almost be hiding behind his parents, Kaleeth had a firm posture, and an even firmer gaze. Even so, she knew it was not truly her time to talk, so without a word, she tightened her grip on Janius' hand as a reminder that she was with him. She wanted to encourage him, and make sure to show that he was not alone. At one point in time, Kaleeth might have been the most frightful of them all in such a situation, but her confidence had truly come into its own. --- "Thank you, your support means a great deal to me. I know that, strictly speaking, I am still a stranger to you. But, I do hope to prove myself worthy of trust, to you and Lunise." Meesei answered. "It was difficult to see past her intentionally cold exterior, I will admit, but as I said before, she is quite a special Justiciar. She may end up serving the Dominion's people in greater ways than any other." Though she had a similar soft smile to Pircalmo's she still showed a hint of regret. "I wish I could tell you everything. The danger she mentioned, a parent has the right to know the details such things about their child. But, the world is also rarely so fair as that. At the very least, I can promise to do what I can to fulfill your request. Ideally, I will avoid straining our trust, but rest assured that I will not give up so easily if I do. I have never been one to simply accept defeat. Particularly for friends and family."
