As a long-time Palladium fan... As well as loving RECON and RECON Advanced, I'm down!

I'd probably want to play [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/2514011]Elijah Dodgers[/url] again from [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/78627-jungle-fever-a-vietnam-war-survival-rp/ooc]Jungle Fever[/url]. It was an RP that was fun and had a blast but the GM had to bail shortly after it started. I got into that RP because it reminded me a lot of RECON, as well as things like [i]Full Metal Jacket[/i], [i]Apocalypse Now[/i], The [i]Predator[/i] franchise, [i]Tears of the Sun[/i] and so on. 

I'd be in favor of running as part of an Army LRRP (Lurp in the slang/lingo). I would also swing being a native operating in the area or attached to a team. I would also be up for a mercenary group, perhaps in the style of [i]The Expendables[/i], or really any merc group. 

This is also the war that created the U.S. Navy SEALs. So there's that.
