Helena looked at Athalus with something like disgust on her face. “What the hell do you think I'm doing?!” she shouted back at him, pulling at the other man’s arm as if to drag him faster, regardless of what he was doing. She made it to Annabeth and finally let him go, turning around to see who else was left. 

“Colette,” she called, trying to find the other girl in the dark. “Can't be the heroine if you're dead. Run first, then attack.” She knew she’d been stupid before, but that was a much smaller a threat. A threat that she [i]could have [/i] handled. But this was just stupid, standing up to this beast that could fucking teleport and leave the plane they were currently existing in to move about. Like why would they stand and fight that when they could flee?
