Don't act surprised, right. Keep pretending to read. The mage listened as she was persistently insulted by the fox but her logic was sound, wasn't it? It was somewhat Livia's fault that all of this had happened. She hadn't protected her students properly and she had even allowed a man to come to campus an exploit their services. She could have prevented the teleportation circles from activating, at least. By the time the fox was finished the mage had fully decided what to do - she wouldn't wait outside the offices to sulk. No, she'd go home talk to her fox and maybe crack open a good book and wait to be summoned back. As she was dismissed she started to give a quick bow - paused - and gave an unpracticed curtsy instead before speaking with a surprisingly stern voice. "I shall return to my quarters then. I'll be busy with my studies, so I would appreciate it if you could head to my housing yourself when the time is available." With that the mage looked towards her fox and extended a hand incase she wanted a ride back to her place. And maybe she'd just touch the tails a bit. Fia actually found herself feeling somewhat angry at this entire situation. The headmistress had ignored her entirely, and sure she was busy but couldn't she at least say something more than leave the room? And who was this upstart mage who had a sudden personality change and demanded that Livia go to her for a conversation? The students should pay proper respect to their headmistress, right? With an irritated sigh however the Phoenix left the room obediently walked a few feet to the right of the door and sat herself on the ground ignoring the chairs in the area. Her arms were crossed and she'd be looking away from the door with a pout on her face if Livia came out to fetch her. The kitten looked up towards Lady Sorcha with a stunned look on her face as suddenly she was being petted. Had-had she done anything to deserve this? In spite of herself the cat felt a small calm wash over her as the dragon addressed her once more. The dragon stated that she didn't expect perfection, but Maoin found herself questioning - No. She's not going to get rid of you for this. She swore she wouldn't ever abandon you, didn't she? The kitten played a little bit with her collar to remind herself and nodded towards the dragoness respectfully before preparing to leave once again, accepting the money. A surprised Lady Lightsword entered the room and looked at them, and Sorcha quickly changed her orders a bit. Maoin forced herself to listen to her mistress and relax as she started walking out of the room, closing the door behind her and heading off towards the market. Take this one step at a time. Think of a meal with a lot of meat. Perhaps a kebab of sorts would work?
