The two were grouped pretty close together still, so it didn’t bear any surprise for Lymarx considering she had seen the sword swing forward before meeting with her foot which provoked her to put more spiritual pressure into the attack right before it collided. It was only a minute amount of aura, but it was enough to allow her to not be thrown off-kilter. However, Lymarx didn’t exactly want to push her foot against the sword in a long effort or contest so she chose to release the kick once it connected and then pushed herself back; away from the range of the blade with her eyes still both on Sophia and Kaelia. As she did so, she moved in a rotation, keeping her eyes where they were – circling like a bestial predator.
