[@BrokenPromise] Yeahc, what I did there was for mystery RP's the players got to solve the "case" - so everything that was posted they could draw from, even if their characters were not part of a particular scene that gave them the in game information. Then the solution was revealed in RP as long as all the clues had been revealed at one point or another. We did this in Darker Than Black and it worked wonderfully. The person that solved the first chapter was not part of many scenes IC, their character being elsewhere, but it allowed us to move forward even if the characters that were there didn't exactly get it. Made for a good and well played story line, which has been continued to Chapter 2 and is about to be moved to chapter 3.
