[@Raineh Daze] It actually [i]is[/i] faster, it's generally the same difference in speed as any central server structure vs direct p2p-networking protocol. However, that difference in speed is irrelevant since your basic forum structure doesn't update continually like a chat does. As such you're always held back to whatever speed your connection type and web browser cares to update the web page at. That is of course, only after you've actively told it to update, whereas a chatroom would automatically update at the acceptance of a new message. With that cleared up the strong dislike toward using Discord looks overwhelming so it's not likely we'll use it anyway.
