Thomas started walking up the stairs, idly wondering how he would handle the situation. He wasn't exactly here for business reasons, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to be professional. It could be easier to talk to her as a representative of his club, but such an approach was generally impersonal, and while he was certainly a representative of the school newspaper, that wasn't exactly what he was here for. Still, it would probably do for a start. As for he was here for, he didn't know if she wanted to talk about it. Still, there was no harm in trying. Before he knew it he'd arrived at the student council president's hospital room. Or at least, the one that the receptionist had directed him to. He hesitantly approached the door, wondering if it was prudent to knock and enter or just knock and wait. Surely she had some visitors, or maybe she was asleep. Thomas briefly debated simply leaving this to another day, but he knew that wouldn't be a good idea. Sighing in resignation, Thomas decided to knock and wait. He'd do something based on what happened next. He knocked on the door 3 times. Whatever response he got, he'd try to get through. He had something important to say, after all.
