Then I recommend reworking your definition, because no matter the culture, that show is built to be cringe. But aside from Watamote, GD is terrible. I get that the standards for comedy anime aren't quite as high, but come on.

A) You don't even know what weeb means.
B) Literally the entirety of Watamote depends on you knowing certain things about daily life in Japan.
C) That screenshot wasn't as bad in the manga, and isn't really supposed to be funny in and of itself, which is showing that you don't even get where Watamote is coming from.
