is it time to accidentally burn down the city? how about we use comedic demons to do it? ok cool. here we go then. also alias suggestions would be helpful.
Name: Elen Bennett Gender: F Appearance:

Can't sew and doesn’t know how to sneakily get a super suit, so she generally just wears fiery colored cloths and a hoodie when she is out superheroing, along with a gas mask with red tinted lenses to hide her identity. Her civilian outfit is exactly the same just without the mask. Easy to change in and out of and the smoke, fire and demonic invasion generally distract from the fact there was a girl dressed exactly like that in the area just moments before. Age: 17 Alias: she's not sure yet Alignment: Trying to be a Hero Identity: Private History: Elen was an ordinary schoolgirl till she was kidnapped to be a virgin sacrifice by some weird cultist people. She was unconscious for most of it, but was awake when they rather incompletely tried to do some kind of ritual or other, which was interrupted by her dad bursting into the room and shooting them all. There was a touching reunion and everything went back to normal after that. A few months after she had been a plot device however, strange things began to happen. First there was increase in the number of fire alarms being set off while she was about, then small but manageable fires started appearing and then finally both her school and favorite cinema burned down within a week. The only reason her house did not suffer the same fate was that she found the perpetrators in the broom closet while they were still preparing. 3 knee high imps stared back at her and began to panic. She ended up subduing them all by thwacking them repeatedly with a broom. Once sufficiently intimidated the three were eager to talk if it meant less broom hitting. It turned out the cultist had succeeded in doing something, they had made her a walking demon beacon that was slowly growing in size. That beacon allowed demons to come too her and then stay up in the human world while they were around her. The imps were perfectly happy to serve if it meant they could stay up here and not get thwacked, but those that came when the beacon was brighter might not be so willing to bend a knee to a human. In the end she and her new minions managed to steal the dead cultists tomes from where they had been locked up and over the following months she has become quite the little demonologist, learning to draw powers from her minions and summon more. She is trying to put her new powers to good use as hero in order to get practice with them and maybe find allies for when something big notices she exists. Unfortunately begin a hero is hard when both your powers and help are evil. Personality: A rather chipper young girl who is in over her head but just wants to help and meet some heroes who aren't pricks. Generally optimistic and polite in her dealings with other though she is rather strict with her minions. Is trying really hard not to listen to her minions and become a rampant pyromaniac. Most people who have heard of her already think she is a pyromaniac. Skills: Demonology, a self taught and thus rather poor understanding of Latin, ballet, amateur fencer, first aid, knows how to use the various types of fire extinguisher. Abilities: Own powers: She can sustain demonic presences in about a block sized area around herself. This trait is slowly growing and may soon bring in things she can't control (with dm permission with anything really big I assume) into the waking world. Various skills for dealing with supernatural beings like magic circles, bindings, banishment etc. She needs the proper resources and texts to do these though, so mostly it deals with controlling the ones she has about already. She has a bunch of minions: Lesser imps: these nubby horned little devils are only 1.5 feet tall, coming up to a person knee., pointy teeth, fangs and their tiny pitchforks are their main weapons as their own powers are relatively lackluster, able to create little pilot lights at the end of their forks. There are a lot of them however and they are relatively obedient if supervised but unfortunately they are also cowards who will turn and flee as soon as things stop going their way. 20 ish Greater imps: standing at 2 feet tall these larger imps are not that much more physically impressive than their kin, however they have one advantage and that is a wee bit of magic, capable of tossing tennis ball sized fireballs at their enemies. Still just as cowardly as their lesser brethren but also less numerous. 4 ish Imp Boss: at 4 feet tall this guy is still pretty titchy, but what is dangerous about him is his 5 foot long, trident tipped tail, improved verions of the other imps' skills and the fact that he actually has a brain and guts. Acts as Elen’s number two and the literal devil on her shoulder. Only 1 Somebody else's problem: The imps all have the uncanny ability of being able to stay hidden most of the time, if the imp isn't interested in someone then they can't see it. This does not mean they are sneaky in an actual fight, but it lets them avoid being noticed by bystanders as they follow Elen about all day to stay in that 1 block radius. Equipment: A gas mask to hid her identity and prevent smoke inhalation. Various tomes on demonology, generally not kept on her person. a note book containing summaries and exerts of the above that she does carry around. A small fire extinguisher. It’s never enough. Mace. A taser. Extendable baton. Swiss army knife.
