Weighing in at 180 pounds of workhorse muscle, Henway's nothing to scoff at. He's broad shouldered and built like an ox from years of physical labor and a good diet. Peter's angular, strong features give him the look of being older than he actually is. His gelled dark brown hair is rarely messy or unkempt. Henway's obsession with appearances forbids him from leaving the house looking anything but immaculate. His frosty blue eyes are always full of life, a certain gentleness never fading from behind his soft gaze. Typically, Peter's face is clean shaven, though there have been periods where he's tried to grow something out. He's never gotten much farther than stubble before reverting back to just shaving it all off. In regards to fashion, Peter doesn't stray far from the typical. He likes jeans, plaid button ups and the occasional blank T-shirt. Henway rarely goes anywhere without a dusty old ball cap for his favorite baseball team, The Royals, his grandfather gave him. The dark blue, worn hat features the letters KC prominently on the front, as well as the numbers '47 on the side.
║ Personality ║
The Positive:

Joyful
Selfless
Gentle

The Negative:

Naive
Pushover
Reckless

More in depth:

Despite the effort he puts into his hair, Pete rarely takes his hat off. He had three sisters, a father who never stopped working and a stay at home mom to raise him. From a young age, Pete was taught to act with a soft hand. He was admonished for acting out in any capacity, never allowed off his short leash. The boy became complacent with his lot in life. Henway was usually the one to draw the short straw whenever chores were assigned, finding himself with the hardest of the jobs. Pete had a good work ethic hammered into his head before he could count above ten. Throughout the week he'd spend his time learning at school, come home to help his pa with whatever project he was working on next, then collapse in bed, exhausted. Once his grandfather introduced him to the magnificent sport that was baseball, Henway spent every Saturday at the field with the other boys. Sundays were spent at church, listening to his dad's sermons. Reverend Henway was a quiet man, who tried to instill a sense of duty to family and community in his congregation, as well as a dedication toward peace. 'Turn the other cheek' was taken so literally that he deemed defending yourself from an attacker a sin. Peter soaked in his teachings every day for seventeen years, without fail. As he grew up, Peter's body rapidly developed. He was the tallest and broadest kid in his class by middle school. He caught a part time job on an uncle's farm, more because of his parents' pressuring him than of any desire to gain income. Henway started to desire independence. The other guys started to whisper about how Pete didn't get to do half the things they did. They starting making fun of him for it. Pete never spoke up in his defense, shrugging it off and turning the other cheek as he'd been instructed. He poured his energy into his job and the only hobby he enjoyed, baseball. His grandpa would take him to Royals games whenever he could scrape together the funds. They'd sit in front of the TV together after church. Dad didn't approve, but dad's dad didn't give a rats ass what his son thought about it. Peter never got around to joining a real team, but he never missed a chance to organize a game at the park. High School rolled around and he kept growing. Now a towering monster of a hormone infused man-boy, nobody picked on him anymore- even if Pete never once raised his voice or laid a hand on another person, he naturally looked imposing. He figured they left him alone because not doing anything about it had actually worked. His grades were average at best. He struggled with math and science, and found English class dull. Shop was a nice break from the monotony of standard academic classes. Then Peter turned eighteen. He was an adult, according to the government, but his parents disagreed. It was the first time young Henway tried to argue with his parents about giving him more leeway. He wanted to attend a Baseball camp in New York. His father was vehemently against it, claiming his son's obsession with the game was what had driven his grades down. Pete brought up that his grandpa was the one that introduced him to it. For the first time, Henway saw his father get angry. Truly angry. He denounced his own dad as senile and hell bound, putting his foot down and deciding his son wouldn't be going anywhere. Peter decided to switch gears. He came to his parents a few days later, telling them about Aces High. It wasn't a baseball camp, and it was in Northern California. It just so happened his dad was planning to spend a few weeks visiting church in Cali- the time lined up near perfectly with the camp. He reluctantly agreed to let his son attend. Henway, exhausted from having to fight inch for bloody inch for even the most basic freedom for himself, began to resent the viper-like grip his parents held him in. He wasn't allowed to be himself so long as they controlled him so closely. Peter made it a personal goal to stretch his wings while he was at Aces. It would mark the first time he was away from his community's watchful eye, giving Henway a chance to see who he really was without their talons sunk deep into his soul.

Welcome to Aces High!
║ Suit Assignment ║
Fill this out when we give you a suit: Hearts, Clubs, Spades, Diamonds.
