Hey guys! So, I have this character that I'm sort of itching to play. He came about after I decided to watch a bunch of nostalgic animes that I used to love. Admittedly, I'm not a huge anime fan, but Inuyasha was one such anime and I forgot how much I absolutely love the world that it's set in!

Name meaning: an amalgamation of 'leader' and 'mischief'
Nickname: Keiji
Age: 300 or so
Species: silver aardwolf demon

Birth story: [i]Keiji does not know this story. Sometimes, it comes up as a legend but he does not know that the child born from this love was him. Sometimes, the legend changes the type of animal that the emperor is turned into, such as a wolf, fox, bear, and many others depending on the region. [/i]

Keiji is the product of a union between a wind goddess and an Emperor. When the Emperor was a young man he prayed nightly, under the ring of a wind chime, for adventure and love. Each night, the young Emperor listened to the wind chime catch the western breeze and he knelt near it to visualize his wishes. Nearly ten years passed and one night the breeze did not take the chime. No ringing filled the Emperor's door. Heartbroken that perhaps the gods had finally begun to ignore him, he fell into a deep sadness. The following new moon saw the wind return to the wind chime and when the Emperor refused to pray, a goddess appeared to him. She explained that she had been the wind who visited him each night and she shared his wanderlust. The emperor was taken and he insisted that the goddess marry him. The wind goddess declined; her place was with the wind and storm and she would not have been happy in a domestic life. Instead, she offered the Emporer a night away from ruling and turned him into an aardwolf. The wind and the aardwolf danced beneath the moon and paraded about the darkness of the night until the sun rose. Returning home and embracing each other, the couple slept upon the floor of the Emperor's palace. When the emporer awoke, the wind goddess was gone and he had returned to his everyday form.
 
Personality: Gentle, lighthearted, and playful. Keiji would much rather laugh off a failure and try again than wallow in upset. 
Habits: Touching his hair and ears too often. 
Fears: Abandonment. 
Powers and abilities: enhanced strength, stamina, and endurance. His reflexes are sharp and his sense of hearing and smell are both well above average. Keiji's nails are a hardened keratin that have created steel-like claws at the tips of his fingers. 
Weapons: Keiji is proficient in using a tall scythe. The large weapon was a gift from one of the passed tribal mothers for protecting the clan. The story Keiji was told was that the blade was folded for one hundred days by a master blacksmith and the snath was made from bone from an ancient dragon. Keiji has no idea if that is the truth or not. 

Brief history: Keiji was abandoned as an infant and raised in the mountains by a secluded group of demon-worshipping humans. The tiny matriarchal society was happy to raise Keiji, naming him so for a legend the eldest mother of the tribe once heard of a leader and a goddess as well as his penchant for mischief. Keiji has remained with the tribe for over three hundred years and maintains his lesser status there without question or upset. Keiji prefers to answer to the mothers of the tribe and if outsiders (especially men) intrude upon the group, Keiji helps to return them to where they come from. 

Keiji has recently set out beyond the boundaries of the band to explore the world and find answers about who his parents are.

This character wasn't written specifically for an [i]Inuyasha [/i]universe (more like a general feudal Japanese fantasy) so we could incorporate shades of Inuyasha, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, things like that into the RP if you wanted! 

The story I have is incredibly basic and revolves only a round my character. He has left his tribe in search of information about his heritage. This can absolutely be expanded upon and added to if you PM me to RP! I'd like to come up with a story together so that both of our characters can have a good reason to cross paths and interact! 

Some quick tidbits before you PM me: 

-Grammatical excellence is not required, but a decent grasp on grammar and spelling is much appreciated and ensures that I don't get bored.
-I don't require a specific number of paragraphs to be written, but I don't like one liners and I will ask that at least 1 - 2 paragraphs be attempted. As it stands, I average around 2 - 5 paragraphs. 
-Romance can be worked in (or not, if you don't want it!) With this character, I was thinking a MxM pairing but I could be talked into MxF with the right character
-If we get RPing and you find you're bored or uninterested, just let me know. I won't get irritated. We can either try reworking the story to make it interesting, or if you've just fallen out of love with the idea, we can go our separate ways! Just please don't ghost me.
