However, she can be a good leader, since many people can trust her to make decisions and plot out a course of action. Her stubborness however has been known to get her in trouble, since she isn't too keen on budging from what she thinks is the right course of action.

She is laid back though, which helps her get to know and understand those around her, and making her seem more approachable to others. She can be a bit snarky and sarcastic, but usually not at anytime that truly matters. She'll make the occasional sarcastic comment and that is the end of it. Marygold is loyal to her friends and those she trusts, and will do anything in her power to protect them.

[b][color=007236]How did you discover your powers:[/color][/b] Marygold was about 10 years old and was on a school field trip to a community garden. As they toured around, she noticed that there was one plant that was about to die, and she pointed it out to the tour guide. He said that the plant had been moved, but had not been properly replanted so that the roots were not fully encased in the soil. She kept looking at the plant, and walked up to it after she made sure no one was looking. She started piling up more soil around it, and willing it to live, since she loved flowers and could not stand to see one dying. After a minute, she jumped backwards, and saw that the flower was suddenly blooming, and the area around it had flowers suddenly growing and blooming. She was confused and ran back to catch up with the rest of her class.

[b][color=007236]Why did you choose the side that you did?:[/color][/b] Marygold was always a kind hearted person. When she first arrived at the Xavier Institute, she kept up with that. Professor X one day told her of what the Brotherhood was planning, and she agreed with his idea of peace between humans and mutants, and this solidified her place with the X-Men

[b][color=007236]General History:[/color][/b] Marygold was born in Berlin, and her mother was a Botanist, and her father was a biologist, causing them to name her after a flower. She lived with them in Germany for the first 5 years of her life, causing her to be bilingual and fluent in both German and English. She always helped her mother in the garden outside of their house, and she enjoyed it.

When she was 5 years old, her family immigrated from Germany and moved to the United States. They moved to the small town of Lake Placid, New York. It was a beautiful little town, and it served the purpose for both of her parents professions. Her mother helped out in the community with environmental projects and such, resulting in several community gardens springing up around the town, and Marygold helped out with the projects too. As she got older, she was able to do more in the gardens around the town and the one in her front yard, and her life was great.

Then came the discovery of her mutant abilities, and her life got turned upside down. No one except for her parents knew about it, but she was afraid of what might happen if others found out. When she was 12, a man in a wheelchair came to her home and asked to speak to her parents. The conversation that ensued was a life changing experience for her. The man identified himself as Charles Xavier, and he had a school in the countryside outside of New York City. It was a school for children with extraordinary abilities, kids like Marygold. He offered her the chance to learn more about her abilities, and she decided to attend the school.

Her life was ruff those first few months at the Institute, but as she aged and gained better control of her abilities, she started to enjoy her life there. When she was 16 years old, she officially joined the X-Men under the leadership of Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops. She helped fight the Brotherhood, to keep peace between humans and mutants, and she enjoyed it. Eventually though, several members of the team left the Institute, but still came back once a month. She was 19 when Scott handed over the leadership of the X-Men to her, and now she fights to keep peace around the world.
