It truly was not Pierce who had put him in this silent stupor or even the Slayer at this point and time. Coincidence... the word seems to ring out in his head like an annoying school bell that would not stop sounding. Blaine was no stranger to his world turning upside down on top of its head, some who know him might think that he was more used to his blood filling his head then anything else. It was nice for lack of a better word that his friends could so non-nonchalantly talk to each other at that point but he could not bring himself to do more then simply nod when he was spoken to and that was that. The feeling inside of himself was the catalyst that kept him quiet to the rest, he could not say anything to them, as much as they were his friends, truth was how could he explain something he did not even understand? He always felt so good around them but today it seemed that nothing was taking off the edge of darkness he felt inside, it was almost like going back to that moment when he faced down his own father in that crypt and knowing that nothing would take away that pain, that memory. Blaine grabbed his bag from the floor and left the damn near full can of Monster on the table, in truth he just didn't notice it when he left the room, pretty much being the last one to leave. His next hour of class was situated in Advanced Math but he did not feel like going it to it, besides he could easily make up the whole welcome and meet everyone spiel some other day. He was not one who skipped class, anyone who knew him knew damn well that going to class was like a religious person going to church, he could joke about skipping but he never did. So hopefully none of them realized his absence in the classes to come. Walking through the thinning hallways, everyone was either in class or just getting to it, turning down a side hall he climbed a set of corridor stairs and made his well down a small corridor and came to the roof access door. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out what appeared to be a small black skeleton key, moving it forward into the lock he closed his eye's gently raising his free hand and positioning it directly in front of the lock. There was a small light series of clicks before he turned the old black key freeing the lock of the door and pushing through it to the roof. Blaine cross the school roof as his feet touched on the various smooth stones upon it, reaching a rather large chimney to the far end he came around it so he would not be easily spotted and sat down upon the stones. The wind blew through his hair gently as the sun shined down upon him in an almost radiant pleasure. No one really knew it but Blaine often came up here at times when school was out and he was on his own, to him it was sort of a place where he felt at peace even if he never understood why. It was almost like this small contained area was under some kind of protection spell and nothing bad could break through it to reach him. It possibly could be that he had used to climb up here when life seemed at its worst when he was younger, in a way it was like he could feel the energy of the wind as it blew into him and feel the energy of the sun and the sky and even at times he could feel the sensation of cold rain, like drops of pure ecstasy on his skin. Reaching into his bag he pulled out a small tattered book, he opened it silently and upon the pages were line after line of his own writing, from front and onward it appeared to change slowly in consistency from a child's hand to a similar yet different old handwriting. From things like fantasy's and being the hero wizard in a movie to things of much darker natures. Pulling out a player and a set of earbuds he placed them in his ears clicking play as a rather sad yet melancholy tone of wordless music played in his ears. Flipping through the pages he found one that was half filled with words and pulled out a pen and clicked it, he started where he had previously left off: Have you felt like there was something important that you were meant to do but you had no real idea how you were suppose to do it? Well I didn't feel that way until last night, everything seemed so clear before but its seems like a hazy smoke has filled my sense and now I standing on the edge of a cliff. On the other side is where I must be but there is no way for me to cross the chasm, but I must do just that. Why is it that it took most of my life to change my fate, but in one fell meeting that lasted only mere moments it seems like everything has changed? Shifted? Into some unknown dark forest filled with deadly shadows at every step? Then again much is the life in a place where dreams die and nightmares become real, when one thing becomes stable another must inevitably become crumbled under foot and break into the nothingness below. The dream or rather the nightmare has shaken me to the core, unlike anything I have faced before it was a mere shadow in what seemed so real that has unhinged me. Which means... which means that it is not mere coincidence, that something dark has come to pass and has thrown everything into disarray. An yet... she has appeared, but is she a light in the darkness or is she the darkness that is necessary to find the light? She feels like evil yet she did not act as evil does, but evil has noticed her it seems as I have become but the sacrificial pawn that is to relay a message, a response to her actions. Coincidence, it can not be and yet I wish it was, but wishes are mere interpretations of things we want but can not have and it is that rationality that conflicts with what has become. I know it to be dumb but for now I will bide my time and I will watch her, it is not my way to step into the unknown blind but I do wonder if it will become a necessary evil that I must adhere to in time. Time... time will tell as it always does... Blaine closed his eyes as the figure appeared before him, its energy so cold and so filled with malice, its chilling words striking him like sharpened knives in his spine. ”The End. . . it is coming for you all. . . you boy will deliver a message. . . the blood moon calls and the Slayer will fall. . . these streets will be bathed in blood.” Blaine reopened his eye's as he looked down at the page of words and then back up replacing the pen on the page he scrawled the words into the remaining blank space and click the pen replacing both it and the book in his pack. Taking out a basic notebook from his backpack he pulled out a black sharpy and scrawled the same message onto a piece of paper in large bold lettering and then ripped the page out, folding it up into a small square he scrawled Slayer onto it and replaced the sharpy. Soon enough the bell was ringing and Blaine found himself in Wood class with Casey and Danny, he nodded to them both but kept his silence as he took a seat somewhere around the back where he would be less noticed. He was not exactly what you would call a very creative person in respects but hey it was at least a moment where he could actually learn something he wasn't all that skilled at... besides when the teacher wasn't looking he could carve out a couple small weapons for later so who was to complain? When the new girl from the night before entered the room however Blaine's attention was almost if not immediately drawn to her, the note in his pocket seemed to burn his leg as he had resolved earlier through no liking of his own to give her the message if not directly. He wanted to observe the situation, to analyze it, to get a feel for it, to go in packing knowledge about it, but something within him told him it was important that the message was passed, almost like life was in the balance. However for the briefest of moments he did take the time to watch her reactions with the surrounding students in class, Blaine wasn't much for most of these meat headed pigs but most of them left him alone because he was such a weirdo. But a part of him almost did wish that these unknowing idiots would get a little taste of what this girl had done the night before. Actually he almost longed for it in that moment, the scene of her kicking their asses almost made want to provoke the situations. "Calm yourself Blaine, your above such pigheaded tactics." Blaine chastised himself very quietly like a child who was thinking about stealing some candy. He did smile though in relishing these jerks getting their just deserts... in time perhaps, in time. Blaine watched like a hawk as the girl and Casey exchanged words with a subtle yet burning fascination to learn a bit more about her. Taking a short minute to retrieve his own pen he scanned the piece of paper in front of him, not that it was a ball busting exercise, he quickly scrawled down the list and quickly wrote in the answers and turned the paper over for the less learned cases and quickly drew his attention back to Casey. Listening to the conversation he learned that her name was Emelia Vance or Emy as it seemed. He did not learn much else from her after that as the conversation seemed to die down and the room started respectively grouping up. Blaine took on two rather new looking students as it seemed Emy, Casey and Danny were teaming up, besides this gave him a chance to avoid her at least in some respects. As the two students whom Blaine could not recall a name for began to chat idly of course not including him he watched as Emy, Casey and Danny went to the back where it was more private. Pulling the note out of his pocket, he knew this was the time if any at this point. Getting up he muttered something about being right back as he approached Emy. "Ah I see you two are hitting on the new girl like the rest of the meatheads in class, and I thought you two out of everyone would be perfect gentleman. Sorry to interrupt your conversation as that is rude but I have something her for you.. Emy I believe itis? probably a love letter from one of these guys who think they have a chance." It was in that moment that Blaine placed a friendly hand on Emy's shoulder going with the nice to meet you I am a friend kind of tactic as apposed to the whole your weird and im watching you manner. The sudden shock of energy driving itself into Blaine's body was completely surprising like he had plugged himself into a live electrical outlet. His eye's widened as the blue circles seemed to become smaller as the black circle in the center widened uncontrollably. The blue left in his eye's shimmered harshly as the light above flickered out of nowhere and became incredibly bright. Blaine quickly removed his hand as the world seemed to swim into a gray colorless blob and for the fewest of moments Emy was shining to him like a white bright bulb right in his eye's. Quickly covering his eye's and turning away his head was hit with an instant headache. Blaine moved aside grabbing the nearby wooden counter across the wall as he was hit with nausea. Shit... shit... shit.. Blaine cursed in his head realizing that there was no way Casey nor Danny had not just seen what he damn well knew had happened with his eye's. Blaine recovered himself as quickly as he could his sight returning to normal slowly but surely everything came back into view. Aside from the awkwardness of what had transpired Blaine had not many words to even attempt to begin to explain any of what may or may not have transpired. "Apol... apologies I get sudden.. migraines out of nowhere, they can be quite painful, this is what I get for passing notes for others. Anyways here is that note they wanted me to give you. Make sure you read it after class or teach might try to confiscate it. If you all will excuse me I think I need to get back to my group." Blaine lay the note nearby to Emy sure as hell not to even risk touching her again, with the best smile he could muster under the circumstances he returned to his small group whom still didn't seem to notice that he existed which suited him just fine at that moment. Putting his head into his hand leaned on the table he massaged his temples. What the hell was that!? Seriously! That girl Emy was so full of energy that she could light the entire damn city! Coincidence? Fuck coincidence! This was turning into The Twilight Zone! End of class could not come sooner because as soon as it did Blaine was getting the hell out of this room and away from Emy two sweet.
