Hmmm... I'll send you a PM after I get some sleep, but I figure that the way things probably unfolded was that he died trying to "save" her from something/someone she was already supposed to be killing for the glory of Odin and she ended up ferrying his soul to Valhalla just as Camael recruited her. As a result, he kind of ended up going along for the ride and now he sticks to her like glue for better or for worse because he admires her and is in love with her (partly because she's a valkyrie and partly because that's just the way Johannes is). Whether she finds that endearing or annoying is totally up to you xD
