He barely had a second to collect his thoughts before the small robot fired a gift box at him. The box collided against his arm causing the coffee to spill and cause his sleeve to feel uncomfortably hot and damp. He put down his cup to check the gift box, looking up to see that everyone had already paired up to hand off their gifts to everyone. In his hands was a leather apron. Recalling the list of infinites he had been introduced to the previous night in the elevator, he reasoned the only one who would find any use for this was going to be the metalsmith, Calvin Ibbott. The atmosphere got tense as the metalsmith began to explain the events of last night. Lucas remained silent, opting to listen. He had nothing to add to the conversation, and after what he had walked in on last night; an explanation was definitely welcome. Calvin was joined by Marianne, the woman who screamed earlier, who held onto Calvin's gauntlet tightly whilst begging for further explanation from the silent smith. Instead of getting a response, Perfection piped up with his own story. Lucas couldn't help but judge the man. He found it ridiculous that Perfection had decided to act on a dare by an unknown source just because his talent had been questioned. Lucas had been questioned about his own talent a fair bit: an infinite paranormal investigator, who would take that seriously? But it didn't mean Lucas would take up any dare just to get revenge at some foolish individuals. Nonetheless, Lucas kept his opinions to himself. Who knows what Davis would be willing to do if he was made fun of again? Davis then proceeded to announce the different rooms that were to be explored that day. Some people disappeared to investigate, and some remained in their seats; including Calvin. He left his coffee behind on the table, but kept a hold on his gift as he approached Calvin, Marianne and their group. He waited for a moment before offering the re-wrapped box to the smith, flashing the group a smile. "I believe this is for you?" There wasn't a response from Calvin, who seemed to be in a conversation-- or being talked to by Mondatta. He glanced over at Marianne next, then at Mary who seemed to be shamelessly sitting across Daimyon's lap-- when did that happen? When there was still no acknowledgement from Calvin, Lucas stepped back, excusing himself quietly from the group. Lucas squeezed out of the room, just moments before two new faces joined the group in the break room. Lucas planned to use his equipment: his EMF meter and recorders had to be around in his room somewhere, right? However, before he could find his way back to his room, Lucas crossed by an elevator from which another girl stepped out from. He had arrived just in time to see Davis return, and say something to the girl. Figuring it wouldn't be such a bad idea to introduce himself to another infinite who was also fairly new to the group, Lucas stepped closer to the two. "I suppose you're just as clueless as we are about the situation you're in?" Lucas flashed the new girl a smile, hoping this one would at least be responsive. "My name is Lucas Carsen, I don't think I know who you are." He offered his hand to shake hers politely. He assumed Davis introduced himself already.
