Seeing what was about to happen, Kuroko intervened in the only way actually available right now--as she could hardly claim that this should be left to Judgement after having ended up in another city entirely. [i]That[/i] was by appealing to the idea that whoever was in charge here might not give her as much of a pass on the wanton shocking of petty thieves as Academy City was wont to do.

Of course, she stumbled over her words a little when another teleporter dropped in. With only a tiny fraction of all Espers being teleporters at all, and an even smaller fraction being Level 4's, the chance of running into another was... extremely unlikely. On the upside, at least this was [i]clearly[/i] not Musujime; her Onee-sama would probably react first and think later with her...
