Darrick looked at the map of recent attacks and the increase in the dark activity. It was all in the outer realm but it was moving inland more quickly every day. His brow furrowed in concern.

[color=0072bc]"Do you think it is the wizard? Do you think he has returned? If so how do you think we are going to stop him? I'm guessing he has help this time." [/color]

Darrick questioned the leader of the king's guard who was also a mage. There were others in the kingdom with magical powers but each person was limited to one or two powers and they had to be honed. It wasn't useful if you hadn't trained with it. Knowing this he turned to his compatriot.

Harold nodded, [color=f7941d]"We think he might be and that it might be that he is banding with the unfriendlies to gain power. There is a young fire mage by the name of Missy Wilson that will be accompanying you."[/color]

Darrick nodded and went to get his things to meet her at the gates of the castle. He arrived with his horse and all of his gear. He waited for her. She was late. He sighed.
