[indent][i]Sachi was born to the Mizushima clan of Konohagakure. Specifically, Kurui and Muchi. Two of the clan's top shinobi, at least, when they were still shinobi. They had been retired due to their decline in performance, so they taught in the school. Teaching in the school taught them a love for children, though it might be the other way around for others. They tried for a child, and so Sachi was born.
 
When Muchi contracted a chakra virus, Kurui did everything he could to stop it, but there was nothing he could do. She passed in her sleep the night of Sachi's second birthday. Thus began his research about Dōjutsu, he was bitter and spiteful that his beloved wife had died. He had this delusion that one of the Sharingan's genjutsu could have stopped it. There was no practical reasoning for this, and when he tried to talk to the Uchiha, they laughed at him and shunned him. It got so bad that even his own clan shunned him.
 
Kurui's delusion took him to a point where it became less about the chakra virus and more about stealing a sharingan to fuel a power-hungry ego of his. These traits that he showed were more apparent each and everyday, making a negative impact on his daughter. She became incredibly timid and afraid of everything, becoming a jumpy child.

Around the age of 10, Kurui finally went off the deep end. He captured and tortured a young man named Uchiha Fuun. Tortured being used relatively loosely, because while Kurui did not inflict any wounds beyond ripping his eyes out, he did not put the boy out of his misery and left him to suffer.

Sachi was vehemently against this, and knew it was wrong, despite her fathers attempts to trick her, telling her that he volunteered and such. Though, these protests amounted to nothing in the end. Kurui knocked her out and transplanted the eye. Sachi did not take well to this, and threatened to go to a higher-up of some kind, but Kurui kept her quiet, he had been planning to flee the leaf regardless.

Kurui forcefully took Sachi and fled the village after learning that Amegakure was currently taking in refugees. They made it to the Hidden Rain Village safely, but was met with an Uchiha hit squad, presumably friends and family members of Fuun. They killed Kurui, leaving Sachi to herself. The leader of the hit squad told her bluntly that he wanted her to suffer for her fathers' actions.

After being found by the minashigo-in koyō sābisu, she was quickly enlisted to be trained in the orphanage. She hardly ever used her sharingan, only but once when she was being harassed by another student about it. Sachi lashed out, knocking the student to the ground.

This caused an instructor, Kūki Ryuu, to take a special interest in her. He wondered just what the girl had to offer, and while it wasn't much, he believed she had potential. Proficient in Fūton, Ryuu taught Sachi the basics of the nature, allowing her to copy Fūton techniques as well as Suiton, her natural affinity.
Ryuu was and continues to be a father figure for her, considering hers was less than subpar.

[indent][i]The Mizushima are native to Konohagakure, renowned for their water release techniques. They were one of the first families to settle in the Hidden Leaf, along with the Akimichi, Yamanaka, and Nara. The family has no kekkei genkai, but a numbered amount of techniques that can be attributed to their name. While Sachi has never met a majority of her extended family, when seeking refuge in the Hidden Rain, her father brought scrolls containing jutsus he was planning to learn with his newly-acquired sharingan. [i]Mizushima Kurui ✝ | Father | 42, Kurui studied the common dōjutsu within Konohagakure, most specifically the Sharingan. While he had multiple studies on the Byakugan, it was not the one he was most interested in. He wanted to know exactly how the copying aspect of the eye worked , and to do that, he had to have a sharingan on hand. After asking around, it was clear no Uchiha was interested in helping his studies. Which meant he had to take matters into his own hands.
 
Mizushima Muchi ✝ | Mother | 38, most of her mother's past is unknown to her. Sachi had constantly badgered her father before his untimely demise, but he would never budge.
Unbeknownst to Sachi, Muchi was a beautiful young house wife up until she contracted a chakra virus, dying when Sachi was only two years old.

[indent][i] Sachi dreams to be rid of the horrible trauma that she's faced, watching her own father be killed in front of her, his stolen sharingan being ripped out in such a gory and horrible fashion. Sachi has a fear of the Uchiha, and whenever she sees another wielder of the Sharingan or their symbol, she freezes up momentarily.
