Her mother seems to get more attractive with every passing year, almost like some sort of thin, elegant, brunette wine. And her father hasn't seemed to change since he started acting as an action movie icon. His sideburns may be gray now, but he still has the same stern eyes and chiseled jawline. Eleanor, however, wasn't gifted with the extreme good looks of her stunning parents. That said, she's not ugly, she's just not the goddess one would expect from Jennifer and Edward Rigby. Before she was 16, Eleanor had long, flowing, gorgeous, curly brown hair, which was the one and only physical trait she got from her mother. However, during her 16th year, which was when she decided to stop giving a shit, she decided that it was too difficult to maintain, so she lopped it off. Her hair is now short, curly, and less prone to fly around in the wind. It was around the same time when she also stopped wearing make-up to cover up the freckles on her face. 

Due to her hedonistic habits, Eleanor is a tad bit chubby, but not downright overweight. She stands at about 5'5" barefooted, and usually tends to walk around barefooted, unless she's going out, in which case she tends to wear sneakers. She also usually wears sweatpants, pajama pants, shorts, or, if she's feeling particularly formal, jeans. On top, she tends to wear T-shirts and/or tank tops, and, depending on the weather, might wear a hooded sweatshirt.[/indent]

An argument could be made that Eleanor Rigby is more of a walking, talking almanac of character flaws than an actual human being. At her core, she's a very lonely person. Her mother was abusive and her father didn't do anything about it, so her relationship with her parents leaves something to be desired. She doesn't fit in among the children of her parents' friends because they're all "snobbish pricks", as she puts it, and the normal teens she's met tend to put her on a pedestal due to her family name. The only real connection she has is to Andrew McClain, the adoptive son of Michael McClain, a famous Hollywood director, and his husband Harold McClain, as well as her best friend. This lonely center of hers, however, can be easily hidden from others, and, more importantly, herself, with the aid of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Yes, Eleanor would pick the pleasures of the flesh over the pleasures of the mind any day without hesitation. Over the few years that she's been a hedonist, she's become a fairly calm individual, mostly because anger, sadness, fear, all of those negative emotions don't feel good, so she chooses not to feel them.

In addition to being drawn to earthly pleasures, Eleanor is an agent of chaos in every sense of the phrase. She absolutely despises authority, and anyone else who tries to get people to do things they don't want to do. She often breaks whatever rule the person or people in charge put out if said rule is stopping her from doing what she wants to do. However, Eleanor does have a few redeeming qualities. Very few, but that's not nothing. For one, despite how badly she hates authority, she tends to respect people who have no power, or who have power but still respect the opinions of those who don't. Also, if she does manage to make friends, she will stay unwaveringly by their side until the end.[/indent]

[indent]About eighteen years ago, the much beloved celebrity couple Jennifer and Edward Rigby announced that they were having a child. It was big news at the time. The two had been married for two years, and had been romantically involved the year before that. The child ended up being a girl, who they named what anyone with the last name of Rigby would name their daughter: Eleanor. Little Eleanor Rigby, in the public's eye, had a very privileged childhood. As soon as she was old enough, her mother pulled some strings and landed her the leading role in a show called [i]Maddie May[/i], about the simple life of young girl growing up in Los Angeles. It went on for years, but about two years ago, the protagonist, Maddie May, seemed to disappear from the show entirely. They changed the name to [i]Los Angeles[/i] and started to focus on the other characters, but it was never the same. Since then, the question of [i]'what ever happened to Maddie May'[/i] has been circling around the fans' heads for two years, but no one truly knows the answer.

No one except for Eleanor Rigby. Maddie May herself.

You see, as a child, Eleanor didn't really want to act. She just wanted to be a normal girl with normal friends and a normal life. Her mother, however, did want her to act. So much so that she forced Eleanor into the show, signing her ten year contract without her consent. Eleanor didn't fight her mother at the time. She was afraid to. Her mother had a temper, and when she lost it, it was, more often than not, Eleanor who had to take the brunt of the hits, both metaphorically and literally. But as she grew, her fear evolved into hate. It was only when she was sixteen that she finally decided to do something about it.

It was after she had met Andrew, who was the one who taught her about the wonders of physical pleasures, and once he had, Eleanor discovered that it was exactly what she wanted. So one day, she set her plan into action. She taped a tape recorder to her back under her shirt, and set it to record. As soon as her mother got home from the set, Eleanor told her that she didn't want to act anymore. That sentenced branched into an argument, which branched out slaps and hits, received by Eleanor and dealt by her mother. This was all part of the plan. Once she had made some copies of the tape, she gave one to her mother, along with the threat of following in Christina Crawford's footsteps if she didn't promise to supply her with money without any drawbacks or deals. That was when she first discovered her talent for blackmail.

So with her mother now at her mercy, Eleanor had an entirely new problem to deal with: [i]Maddie May[/i]. When her mother had signed the ten year contract, Eleanor had been eight years old, and at the time of her "Great Insurgency", as she calls it, she was only sixteen, so she had to figure out how to terminate the contract. So, with her newfound exaction skills, she did a little digging, and found out about one of the head producers' relations with a member of the cast, the young woman who played Maddie's best friend, a young woman who was, at the time, underage. A video and a threat later, Maddie May was no more. And Eleanor was completely free.
