With a huff, the girl laid down in the bed and patted her lap slightly. It was largely a performance and would be able to be seen as such, but it was hard for the mage to resist the temptation. "The bed is mine, but if you desire to stay up here with me that is acceptable. I'm just a bit surprised that you're interested in starting that sort of relationship between us ..." The mage did have a slight blush on her face, but she managed to stick her right hand out in an incredibly feminine fashion to hopefully add to her sense of performance. "Now if you ever get cold and need to cuddle don't worry about it!" A wink. "I wouldn't want you to get injured from slipping off, now would I? Like you said, you are a valuable creature and I should make sure you aren't hurt!" The noblewoman would never have the gall to talk this way with a normal girl, but it was surprisingly easy with Sly. The kitten paused in her dusting session, looking back at the pair as her mistress and Lady Lightsword addressed her. "Of-of course mistress!" The cat headed towards the table and sat down with a respectful curtsy after the other two had and allowed herself to start eating once her mistress took a bite. It seemed that Lady Lightsword had a good sense of taste or at least the connections to acquire such a meal. "Thank you Lady Lightsword for this meal." The cat gave the Paladin a wide smile as a few thoughts seemed to cross her mind when her eyes moved across the room. "... do either of you ladies you have a crate or other arrangements for me to sleep?" The bed would likely be crowded with both Lady Sorcha and Miss Luna crowded in it, and although their relationship was far less official the two seemed to be friendly and it wasn't exactly unusual for familiars to please their masters in various ways. And besides, a crate with plenty of blankets stuffed inside would be a nice comfortable place to curl up for a good, long nap. The crimson haired girl nodded as she listened to Livia's instruction. She nodded again before actually approaching the table and picking up the ball once the man running the booth accepted the money. Fia threw the ball towards one of the cups near the front only for it to bounce off the table as it was thrown inaccurate. A saddened expression ran across the girl's face but the person running the booth knew how to take care of this. "So close, but a good practice throw never hurts! Perhaps with your next shot you'll have a bit more luck?" Responding to being egged on, the familiar tossed the ball once more towards a cup in the middle where it seemed to wobble on the edge before falling in. In spite of herself, Fia found herself leaning forward with excitement and even a smile as the man running the stand gave her a wide grin. "Congratulations! You nearly knocked it over there, but you scored! But are you brave enough to try your luck again?" Livia would realize the man had become a bit more quiet and spoke in a slightly higher pitched voice in an attempt to make the shy girl feel a bit more comfortable. It seemed to have the desired effect as Fia almost scoffed at the guy as she felt the silly fun wash through her veins ... it was strange, really. The teenager picked up the next ball before tossing it again towards one of the cups in the back. She'd been through a horrible life in a tower - what sort of bravery did this silly game take? The sphere landed straight in the cup by some combination of luck and skill and Fia watched it for a second before letting out an excited whoop. Then it fell over. The red-haired girl was stunned, looking at the scene as if she did not expect that. "I'm sorry my friend, but since the cup fell over your prize is forfeit ..." Fia seemed slightly saddened before the man started to speak again in an encouraging manner. "But you almost managed to score in the back row! Do you know how rare that is? How about the next round is only three florins? I'm sure you'll win a nice prize this time with the sort of talent that you have." The crimson haired girl looked back up at Livia with some combination of guilt for failing and hope that she'd get to play in the next round anyways.
