This girl may have been pretty, but she was irritating. Here she was insulting and judging him for his way of doing things. About how he was sitting here reading instead of training or making friends. Yet, here she was, leaning against a tree, talking at him instead of doing either of those things. If there was one type of person he hated most, it was hypocrites. Ryoma wasn't going to waste his time talking to her. He simply rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to his book. But the next thing she said caught his attention again. Instead of throwing insults and judgements, she was now asking him why he had confidence in his skills if he knew he wasn't going to win competitions. "Neither my skills, or my Quirk, are combat oriented. A huge part of being a hero is combat related, so the competitions will be too." Ryoma responded, though he doubted she would get the concept of somebody having non combat related skills in a school for heroes. Considering how their conversation had gone thus far. Ryoma placed the bookmark in his book and closed it. It was pretty clear that the girl wasn't going to be leaving him alone yet. "It's my turn to ask a question. Why are you here leaning against a tree rather than training or making friends?" Ryome figured that he had the right to ask the question back at her. But if things went wrong, he was still calculating his escape route. To get off the ground and in the tree would take him about ten seconds from a sitting position, and that wasn't even taking this girl's Quirk into consideration, whatever it may be. A few other plans popped into Ryoma's head as he waited for her response.
