[h1][color=Silver]Orders of the Tower[/color][/h1] The Tower is home to a varying list of Orders with a few consistent Orders that are headed by The Masters and Mistresses of the Tower. [b][list] [*] Order of Shadows- This Order of the Tower is responsible for information gathering, espionage and sabotage. One of the original Orders within the Tower there has always been a Master or Mistress of Shadow. Occasionally this organization is also responsible for the elimination of the targets dictated by those who hire the Tower [*] Order of Sight- This Order was created for the purpose of defending the Tower from its enemies. The only Order within the Tower that is as old as the Order of Words and Shadows. The Order of Sight is often fully capable of acting outside of the authority of the Master or Mistress of Stars as they are required to mobilize against threats which may manifest faster than the rest of the Tower are capable of reacting to [*] Order of Words- This Order exists within the Tower as a fraternity of Magic users dedicated to advancing the work of the original and only Master of Words. Urthar. The Knights which serve as Members of the Order of Words are always magic users and often of the incredibly powerful breed. The Order of Words has the highest concentration of non human Knights. [*] Order of Blades- The fourth oldest order within the Tower of Stars, the Order of Blades is the largest Order within the Tower. The vast majority of unaligned Knights fall under the authority of the Master or Mistress of blades. This Order is almost exclusively militant in nature. [*] Order of Steel- The order of Steel is the Artisan Order within the tower and are responsible for arming, armoring and outfitting the Knights of the Tower. In addition to this the Order of Steel is responsible for much of the Towers technology and for maintaining the Forge at the heart of the Tower. [/list][/b] Beyond the aforementioned Orders the Tower periodically acquires and removes orders on an as needed basis. If an order is ever needed for an extended period of time it often becomes a permanent order. Notable previous Orders include: The Order of Fists, the Order of Stones, The Order of Waves, and The Order of Fangs.
