[@Rob] The main exoskeleton looks like this. The guts and bones of the power armor. It's capable of a high carry weight, though that doesn't mean it has the strength to tear apart cars or anything. At best it can lift one end of a car up. The main use of the exoskeleton is to provide armor and protection: the frame alone is tough enough to withstand direct gunfire and the entire suit is made to absorb high impact like falling from great heights or cars. It's less effective against attacks that can move around the openings like actual bullets or blades, though that I hope to overcome by putting some actual armor over the frame. And yes, that's the just of his powers. Not flashy but certainly useful in a roundabout way. He's not going to be insta killing bad guys with it, but it has a lot of utility, which fit a guy from a support class, he could always use more of. And yeah, the fact he spends so much time on his armor as well as other obligations is why he himself hasn't utilized his quirk to strengthen his body. He actually hopes to attend this school so he could focus more on his body and his mech without getting mired up in school work that he considers beneath him. He feels pain sure, but like your second responds says, when he feels pain that means that he's over exerting himself. He can still trudge onwards despite that, overheating his body for whatever reason, but it will do more damage to his body that he won't be able to black out from. In a way his quirk can be a curse too, since he'll be entirely conscious despite his excruciating pain, to the point that even once his body does wear out and he's completely paralyzed, he'll still be awake and helpless to do anything about it. Which is why he relies on his power armor. I'm aware that one doesn't need super physical abilities in order to be an effective hero, and most get by simply with proper training with their quirks augmenting or offering additional abilities, but in this instance my focus is less about my character's physical preformance and more about his armor. Sure while he could have done the normal thing and just train his body, he had the opportunity to inherit his father's power armor, and that isn't an opportunity that he could afford to waste. Sure he only has it because his father more or less gave it to him, but then again it's not as if people can chose the quirks they're born with either. He had a good thing going for him so he tries to make the most of it.
