Rex Salazar
Rex bolted up from his sprawled position, finding himself on some sort of sidewalk. His last memory was being hit by a blast while attempting to take down a dangerous EVO, though after recovering from that attack and scanning his surroundings, the rampaging monster seemed to have vanished, along with his teammates, the Providence vehicles, and... and everyone and everything else, actually. On closer inspection, the deserted area he was currently in had no resemblance to the one he had been in just a moment ago, or what felt like a moment, he couldn't be sure. Could that blast have teleported him somewhere else? Or even sent him to another time? Rex knew that it was highly possible, considering that past incident with that EVO named Breach that had left him waking up in some desert six months into the future. Panic struck the teenage boy. What if this was worse than that? What if this time, it wasn't just six months, but he had been blasted sometime way into future? Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he recalled what he had done the previous time - try to contact Providence. However, his attempt to use his ear-link communicator was unavailing, and he received no response. Rex let out a loud groan in frustration, but he wasn't giving up. His only option was to find someone, if there was even anyone in this place, who could tell him what was going on. Deciding that he could have a better view from the above, he built his Boogie Pack - an orange jet pack with large turbine wings that emerged from his back, and took off into the air, pulling his googles down over his face. There seemed to be no one on the streets he had flown over, and it was starting to get monotonous, until something below finally caught his attention. He had almost missed them - the group of people who looked like they were casually hanging around a street vendor of sorts. Perhaps they could tell him exactly when and where he was. Rex carefully lowered himself near the group before walking up closer with his Boogie Pack retracting into his back. Some were talking among themselves, and many of them had their attention on a redhead spear-wielder who was guzzling down the vendor's food. Most of them looked human, though some of them were dressed in clothing and carrying equipment that seemed to be from different times and places. A couple of them even looked like they could be EVOs, but at this point, who knew anymore? Rex gave the group an awkward wave before speaking up. "Uh, hey there amigos. Would any of you mind telling me the date today?" As strange of a question as that was, Rex felt that when in time he was took priority over his current location.
