Two nearly identical buildings, one blue another red, stand separated by a pond and connected by a battered roofed bridge running over it. Made of wood, corrugated sheet metal, and the occasional length of chicken wire they give off an agricultural feel. The hay, empty grain silos, and barn style doors seem to suggest this is fact. However the lingerings stink of gunpowder betrays the true nature of the opposing forts. Beneath the surfaces of both forts are clean and sleek facilities with offices, meeting rooms, rows of computer banks, and mission control rooms that once accurately displayed the state of the world from which it was from. A road and a railroad track runs through 2Fort, though where they lead now is unclearly… -Areas and Facilities in 2Fort-

Arowana Pond
Beneath the bridge running between the Red and Blu forts of 2Fort is a pond filled with fresh water. There are signs that a proper river once ran between the buildings, but it either dried up or was deliberately cordoned off. Whatever the case is a recession was left between in the that has filled with and continues to be replenished by rain water. Light vegetation in the form of lily pads and some form of fish known as Arowana currently live in the 'pond' though it's hard to tell if the fish were native to the pond prior to The Event. If you want to get technical, it's more a recession under a bridge that happens to be filled with water then it is a pond. However if we’re being technical it's also your only current source of food and drinking water. So it’s probably best to be nice and just call it a pond. The Arowana Pond provides a source of fresh water and fish. Every day an Arowana Fish will be caught for each member of the town (including player characters) that needs to be fed to do with as they desire. However there are only so many fish in the pond and at the rate the town is likely to go through them, they’ll be gone quickly if they’re relied on as the sole food source. The water is pretty plentiful though, more than enough for drinking and even bathing though there’s not exactly plumbing. However if a heat wave hit the town or some kind of contaminate got into it, everyone would be in trouble. The Arowana Pond is currently your life blood, but you need to expand your resources and either supplement or build up the pond if you want to 2Fort to survive and expand. While bony, it’s very tasty raw or cooked and provides moderate stamina recovery. Stepping out into the open on these battlements fills you with a strange, irrational fear that a sniper has your head in his sights. While they currently lack any fortifications or emplacements these battlements give a good vantage point for firing down at invaders while keeping out of melee range of even the longest armed foes. While simple and not offering a whole lot of protection, these Battlements leave lots of room for improvement or outright re-purposing.

Underground Offices x2
On the surface the Blu and Red buildings of 2Fort seem normal. Wooden with a rustic, farm related feel. However beneath the surface down some stairs or through the ‘sewer’ tunnels and you’ll find a facility. It has desks, reel to reel computer banks, a control room, pointless meeting rooms, and a coffee machine with enough overused grounds to still make something resembling coffee. In other words it has all one needs to run some form of orderly, likely bureaucratic governing body. Computers [Old]: Computers that were considered high tech...in the 1960s. While they take up a lot of space and comparatively don’t have a lot of power, there are plenty of spare reels and could potentially be made to do something useful given some clever technical application. Command Center [Old]: A large room with lots of consoles dotted with flashing lights, important looking buttons, and a large screen that once showed the current state of the world. Most of the equipment in this room is not useless, however it still has some working radio equipment. Allowing for those staying at the town to communicate with characters who have gone out exploring. Provided of course the characters in question have a radio too... Power Generator [Simple]: A conventional fuel generator keeps the lights and equipment of the offices, as well as the things above ground at 2fort, running. It’s not particularly strong and could very easily fritz out, but for now it’s the town's sole source of electrical generation. Generates [Weak Electrical Power]

Courtyard x2
Medium sized courtyards with soft earthen grounds exposed to the open air and sunshine. Stairs and hallways leading to various parts of the building run through these courtyards making them often traveled spots. As they are however they don’t have much use besides a good place to sunbathe or hold a really claustrophobic game of baseball. However with some water, seeds, and back breaking labor they could potentially be turned into garden areas.

Sewers x2
Down in the pond there are two large tunnel pipes which lead into the underbelly of 2Forts underground offices. On the way to the offices there is empty space. A few control panels for technical equipment that no longer has a purpose sits down here. The space is open and could be used for many things, however the fact you end up up to your knees in water makes the usage of this space problematic...

Waiting Room (Red and Blu)x2
Once these rooms acted as resting and preparation areas for opposing mercenaries who murdered each other over briefcases. Now they go unused, with little more than empty supply cabinets and cubbies to show their previous purposes. The cleans floors and walls however make these rooms ideal for potential infirmaries, provided some beds and medical supplies can be acquired.

Unused Space Halls, empty spaces, these spaces are unused but still within the borders of the ‘town’. This is where many of the current towns folk sleep. Just pick a spot, pull up a pile of the hay that’s just kind of laying around, and sleep on the cold hard ground. At least it’s safe.
