"Whoa, whoa, whoa!  The wonders of ramen?  As in those 25 cent bricks with no flavor?"

He looks at the picture and giggles.

"Girl, that is your beau?!"

He looks at her and has a little fit.

"Okay, baby girl, here is what is up.  That man there, when I came and visited Vale got me drunk for the first time ever.  He eased me into drinking rum, then moonshine.  He started me out with some sweet stuff then as it got later, he gave me stronger and stronger stuff.  When I ended up with a hangover because of his ass, he made me this soup with eggs and some kind of noodle."

He laughs.

"Whatever that noodle was, it tasted good."
