Notable Factions

Distorted lands overflowing with the dense magical energy of the succubi and other monsters are called “Demon realms.” The magical energy that fills a demon realm causes that land's earth, water, plants, and even animals to transform. In many monster realms, the scenery is different from that of human realms, and plants and organisms that are unique to the monster realm can be seen. The scenery of the monster realm, with its ever-somber black earth that is illuminated by plants that glow blue and purple, and works of art that incite lust in humans and monsters and guide them towards sex may appear sinister or obscene to the human eye at times. However, the environment of the monster realm which is even called “a world for monsters” is very comfortable, and an easy place to live for all monsters and the “incubi”, human men who were showered in demonic energy after having sex with monsters and changed into an existence that is more convenient for a monster's husband. Presently, all of the monsters have become female due to the influence of the “Demon Lord”, a member of the succubus family possessing immense power. I think everyone is well aware of how they changed into having the nature of a succubus and beautiful forms close to that of human women. Because of this, the monsters which used to be fiends who could only perceive humans as prey and feasted on human flesh and blood, have now changed into “monster girls” who perceive human men as life partners, have sex with, and fall in love with them. A demon realm is a convenient environment where monster girls and their incubi partners, lovers, and married couples, can have a more pleasurable, lewd, and happy sex life. Furthermore, the size of a demon realm may vary from small-scale like the size of a village, to large scale, at the state level.

The Order is the religious organization that reveres the Chief God who is purported to be the creator of the world. The Order isn't monotheistic, there are many Gods, but all of the other Gods are regarded as subordinates of the Chief God. Faiths that revere the other Gods are treated as sects of the Chief God's religion. For that reason, the majority of humans are adherents of the Chief God. The majority of nations have established the Chief God's religion as the state religion. Most of the human world is controlled by this enormous organization, and humans have values that conform with its doctrine. The doctrine of the Chief God's religion explains how to live one’s life properly as a human. Virtue lies with maintaining to be noble in character and pure of heart, never drowning in lust and other desires. Clean living is regarded as virtuous. The followers of the Chief God's religion begin every day by praying to the Chief God, and they continue to be virtuous, according to the Chief God's teachings. They lead clean and quiet lives. And because one of the teachings says to 'love thy neighbour', they treat other people who are followers of the same religion with kindness. However, according to the Chief God's teachings, 'love thy neighbour' doesn't include monsters. They are taught that monsters have been the enemies of Humanity since the age of the former Demon Lord, they are beings who corrupt, and lead mankind to destruction. (Actually, if the children born between human men and monsters are only female monsters, then it would gradually lead to Humanity's ruin.) For that reason, they are hostile towards monsters. The Order's knight brigades, etc. will aggressively attempt to slay monsters as soon as they spot them. They also form armies and try to invade the Demon Realm. Additionally, people called “Heroes,” who receive orders to slay the Demon Lord from The Order, are under the divine protection of the Chief God. They boast far more powerful combat abilities compared to an ordinary human, and can overwhelm monsters. However, because of the benevolent nature of Heroes and holy knights, when they actually get in a fight with monsters, many of them hesitate to bring their sword down on a monster in the form of a woman, and in that moment of vulnerability, the monsters catch them off guard, and they end up having sex with them. No matter how strong the will of the knight or Hero, they are still men after all, and they are unable to resist sex with monsters who have bodies that are specially adapted just for pleasuring men. After having sex with them, they know devilish pleasure for the first time, and learn of the deep love that monsters have for human men, which results in them becoming prisoners of the monsters. They will probably end up choosing the path of living with monsters. Additionally, these countries that are controlled by the teachings of The Order, and have hostile policies towards monsters are called “Anti-Monster states.” Most of the “Anti-Monster states” are comparatively affluent, and boast a high cultural standard due to the teachings of the Chief God.

The Moon Kingdom was one of the countries under The Order. Despite being located quite some distance away from the Order-Demon borders, one can find monsters in the remote areas of the kingdom. The most notable feature of the Moon Kingdom, besides its fondness of the heavenly body, is the esteemed Lot Order. This order of knights is known for its silly-named members and their hobbies and quirks as well as their prowess in combat. It was them who finally ended the Usurper Crisis and restored the royalty to the throne (sort of. While all the usurpers have been killed, so were all of the royal blood. You will have to dig in the RP proper about the details). Unlike the Order nations, however, the Moon Kingdom has a patriarchal culture and most important roles in society like government and military are handled mostly by men. The kingdom has been moving away from such a culture but one can see it's still there. One big proof of this is the Lot Order which cannot allow female members simply because Ragnvald's blessing, cast by and named after the founder, does not affect females or monsters (the blessing makes Lot Knights immune to age and the symptoms of diseases). Its standing changed drastically when the investigation of the Usurper Crisis led to the reveal that Varjo had been supplying the usurpers. When these accusations were thrown at Varjo, the fallen nation instantly declared war against the Moon Kingdom. The Order took the side of Varjo and thus, the Moon Kingdom was forced to cut all ties to The Order. Meanwhile, unrelated events caused magic's decline of popularity which shifted the Moon Kingdom's culture to technology, creating some sort of fellowship between them and the Dwarves (Their mutual enemy also helping in that regard). Helping on that end is one Lot Knight who is the pillar of breakthrough upon breakthrough.

The Dwarf people as a whole are sturdy and strong, brilliant craftsmen and excellent warriors, but above all they prize themselves on their loyalty to each other and to those they are indebted to. This strong bond of kinship has ensured that the Dwarves are considered amongst the most united races in the face of the world. They are known far and wide as the greatest miners and tunnelers in the world, the ageless halls of Dwarven Palaces are but one gigantic example of how huge their works can become. As expected, the Dwarves are highly proficient smiths and craftsmen, capable of producing works far more beautiful than the Elven metalworkers of the woodlands and hundreds of times more valuable than the trinkets of Man. Proud, honorable and enduring, it is said that the Dwarfs shall weather the horrors and misery of this world until its final bitter end. The coming of the new Demon Lord, however, had a huge impact in Dwarven culture. Long story short, the population of Dwarven men dwindled into endangering numbers due to preferring beautiful monsterized Dwarven women rather than the normal ones. This did not go unnoticed by the current High King and more mindful Dwarves and has deemed this a sin by the Demon Lord that cannot be forgiven. And so the remaining unmonsterized Dwarves sent ambassadors to negotiate an alliance with The Order against the Demon Lord. However, the Tragedy Of Skala Mountains made sure that the Dwarves would war against The Order until one of them would be utterly decimated. Meanwhile, the monsters' generally kind nature waned the Dwarves' hatred of them while the battles against The Order grows ever more fierce, making the Dwarves focus more attention on their human enemies.

Varjo, the fallen kingdom. Generations ago, Varjo was known as Razelia, a kingdom of knowledge and magic and magical knowledge. Many mages and sorcerers consider visiting Razelia an obligation. A pilgrimage of sorts. And with good reason, the magic kingdom has many academies and libraries that can teach an old sage a thing or two. The greatest of which is The Library of Arcadia, a library as big as a palace that is supported by a village. However, everything changed when House Caldeyron led a sudden and quick rebellion against the royal family and successfully overthrew them. The new ruler then changed Razelia and everything it stood for. First, the kingdom was renamed to Varjo. Secondly, the libraries and academies of knowledge and magic were torn down and replaced with blacksmiths and barracks. Thirdly, he concentrated the kingdom's wealth to the capital and left the outlying villages, towns and cities impoverished. When the people began complaining, the new king's newly-outfitted armies quickly put them down with extreme prejudice. The reign of the Caldeyrons soon changed the nation's culture from the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom to the pursuit of bloodshed and slaughter. Roving bandits and brigands filled the Razelian countryside, forcing the many towns and villages to form their own militias who could defend against banditry and also do some banditry themselves to support the hometown. The nations of Man mourned for Razelia's passing and Varjo's membership in The Order is now being questioned by many. Still, also a great many point out that Varjo's ferocious warriors have been a great help dealing with The Order's enemies.
