When they finally faded, pain seared his right hand, and he stared. "The mark... of the l'Cie. This wasn't supposed to happen." He glared up at Shemhazai, stepping forward. "How dare you?! Taking innocent lives for no reason? We were going to learn from you, help you! And now..."

With a snap of her fingers, another surge of energy exploded throughout the room, blasting open the doorway behind the group and continuing throughout the whole warehouse. Where previously one could hear sounds of blades clashing and shouts of victory or defeat, now an utter silence filled the area. Shemhazai looked down on the group momentarily before she stumbled forward, collapsing to the ground. [color=ed145b]"Make... us proud... again..."[/color] she whispered before her body disintegrated into a flood of rose petals.
