As the guards cracked down, Kogo knew his situation was about to get a lot more dire, the cyborg was a lost cause and kogo needed an ally. Thinking to himself he noticed that the trandoshan already had a companion in a brown haired human, clearly these two were partners, and we're approaching a stoic black haired man before the guards busted up the group. If these two were acquiring allies, Kogo wanted in.

When they formed a line, Kogo made sure to get in line by the two of them, unfortunately a twi'lek formed right behind them before kogo got in. 

As they walked down the hall, Kogo got a better look at the armory...

Blaster rifles of various design..
Ion blaster.. good if there's any droids in our way..
Oh, a heavy blaster pistol, a rare model used by the Kel dor...
A vibroblade.. 
A stun stick..
A gamorian axe..?

It dawned on kogo.. this isn't an armory, these are confiscated weapons, he thought.
