The knock was followed by another a moment later, and while Nora was expecting Neema's return, she felt a soft bit of paranoia. Perhaps it was the doctor from the night before, returned to berate her and to place her into confinement for delusional behavior. Perhaps it was her father, here to accomplish the same task, for the doctor had maybe informed him that night. She took in a deep breath and opened the door a crack, before smiling as she saw it was Neema. Her fears dissipated. She opened the door all of the way and stepped aside, as to allow Neema to enter her set of rooms. The tray the woman was carrying had breakfast and tea, a British staple, as well as a letter. While she could not help but be curious as to the letter, and wonder if it was the summons from Lady Munn, she had more pressing questions all the same. She could not but hope that Neema would have some answers for the strange dreams that had befallen her. The three prior nights she had had the same dream with a haunting intensity--and suddenly, the night after the brand, the dream changed entirely. She knew no mathematical formula to explain. "Thank you for coming," Nora said, in her usual soft and quiet voice. "I am indebted to you, Neema, and I must ask that you have breakfast with me." She paused a bit, pondering whether or not to mention the dreams yet, but she figured that honesty would be the best. The truth had always been her guide. "I must confess, I have some dreams that I would like to discuss with you, for I do not quite understanding their meaning or their purpose...if that would be quite alright."
