Somehow Zara had survived. The Law Enforcers had gone, and everyone had made it through alive. Well, not everyone; D'Ren had died--but she didn't know him well anyway, no skin off her bones. It was still kind of sad though, seeing someone die; she had done her share of killing back home, but the chill and unease death sent down her spine never wavered, no matter how many times she had done it. The whole forest had cleared and everyone began walking so Zara followed. Once they reached the city, she marveled at its beauty. It was nothing short of mesmerizing! She'd give up all the contracts in the world if it meant she could retire to a place like this. "Pretty damned good lookin' place this is." She didn't have much interest for the residents in the city nor the Chief himself, but she did wonder if this group could actually pull off this saving-the-world business, it was something she had only seen in fairytales--although this was a world governed by magic, so it could be possible. If there was one thing Zara knew, it was that probability and reality didn't mix well.
