Three years ago in 2025, [i]Maximation[/i] launched Project SENSE, where five volunteers, that were either enlisted or officers in the military, were injected with a serum that enhanced any of the five human senses- seeing, touching, hearing, feeling, and tasting. These men and women were not only apart of a new special operation unit for the United States government, but they practically became the [i]Avengers[/i], but in real life. 

The Ectosaviors, people came to call these enhanced super mutants. Treated like celebrities, they gained money, fame, and glory, all while being defenders of justices, whether that be preventing global terrorist actions, or tracking down infamous gang leaders or drug lords. 

But enough them, what about you? Well, you, were destined for very much the same thing, but destiny seemed to have its... mishaps, wrinkles, glitches, errors... the opposite of what you expected. Instead of calculating the method to strength the human being, this time, [i]Maximation[/i] could only devise how to kill it faster...

It is year 2028, this is where you come in. Unlike, Project SENSE, the one you are apart of, Project HYBRID, did not quite focus on the five human senses, but instead ushered full attention in mutating humans with animal-based abilities. Each volunteer selected any reasonable animal or animal family they wished to be mutated after, thus gaining this animal's physiology. For an example, if it were the canine physiology, then this person would have powers such as fur generation, enhanced bite, enhanced tracking, night vision, and so on. 

Where Project SENSE gave birthed to the Ectosaviors, Project HYBRID created the Hybrid-Humans. 

Based on animal testing, the injection was though to be safe. However, now with these ten human subjects, the serum develops rapid carcinogenic qualities and begins quick killing the human test subjects. Faced with their own rapidly approaching deaths, how do these new super-beings use their powers?[/indent][h3][center][hr][hr]Plot[/center][/h3][hr][hr]
For little over two months, the mutants have been training and housed inside of the [i]Maximation[/i] facility located in Seattle, Washington. Off the outskirts of this city lies this secret facility deep underground. Originally eleven volunteers were accepted into Project HYBRID, however due to the flawed serums, one of them has died due to the failed attempt of mutating a human into have gills. The tissue meant to form these gills within his neck, eventually grew to the point of slowly suffocating him in his sleep.

After his tragic death, [i]Maximation[/i] reexamined all the mutant's tests and made a few extra medical examinations to confirm that indeed every single of one of them was injected some kind of anatomical fatal or carcinogenic quality.  

Now, the Administrator of [i]Maximation[/i], Edgar E. Eisley, has decided to address the mutants with this news face-to-face. That is where we will start this story, with the mutants' immediate reaction to their foretold deaths. Surely news like this will divide and split them between choosing Justice or Revenge? Do they forgive or do they fight?

[indent]1.) First off, [b]be active[/b], my number one pet-peeve when it comes to roleplaying is people joining, creating their character, probably post one time, and then leave without a word. I understand, we all have lives, but if you know that you are going to be busy or gone for a long period of time, let me know and we can work something out. Also, you do decide to drop out of the roleplay, let's do it the right way, and either kill off your character or have them retire off somewhere. Of course, we will PM each other before killing off a character or forgetting about them completely. 

2.) Secondly, please no drama between each fellow roleplayers. Honestly, I do believe it is quite rare to find drama between roleplayers. But as GM, please don't jump to accusations. Sure, if someone is either continually breaking a rule or doing something to cause conflict between another roleplayer, let me know. I just hate dealing with that kind of crap. I'm sure I won't, because like I said, it is quite rare, at least from my experience. 

3.) Usually I prefer post at least 500 words long because I won't lie, I love long post with important details, it is the reason why I've decided to submit this in as [b]high[/b] casual. But I'm not strict about it, because we are all here to simply tell a good story regardless of the word count.

4.) As for language, romance, and violence, keep it all relatively PG-13. Not too strict about this, but [b]please[/b], fade to black. 

5.) Lastly, all you of guys probably already know this since I stated it in the interest check. No mythic creature mutations, not trying to go into elemental territory.
