[@jynmi88]Today was unusually busy so I couldn't really respond until now but yeah, basically that.  Actually, I had a vague idea of how to start things out if you're interested.  Basically the first two characters are former members of a weak and pathetic pirate crew (probably to the point that they were infamous for how terrible they were) and after an encounter gone wrong they just hopped into one of the lifeboats and left.  And then one of them basically decided that they could do so much better than the old captain and that they should form their own crew [s]with blackjack and hookers[/s] and, well... [i]"Aw screw it, let's just go after One Piece!  You only live once, after all!"[/i]  Or... Something.  Probably starting off in East Blue I guess?  Hmmm.

Of course if you already have something else in mind then just ignore my rambling. ^^;
