Malakaus only recently applied to the Tower of Stars. I guess you could say he's the new meat. I like the idea that they had a bit of a sanctioned duel at the Tower though, he'd never turn down a fight getting to face off against one of the towers own feels more engaging for him than to just go on a little tour and be shown a presentation.

I like the first idea too. Perhaps she spotted Malakaus on a lucky streak at a fight club, while she's there conducting business of a personal matter of some sort. After Malakaus inevitably looses (going twelve rounds straight does that to a guy) she introduces him into the Tower. Apprehensive at first, as he has no interests in joining a gang, but more into it once he hears that the Tower is legit.

Also I am not [i]that[/i] naughty. Totally good for children of all ages. I'm the stuff dreams are made of~
