[@Nightwing95] Bane murdered Damian, Dick, and Jason... and he's still got Batgirl alive. A man can only take so much. Losing a kid isn't an easy thing to deal with, doesn't matter who you are. Losing three? He's beyond the breaking point. Jim Gordon would even shoot Bane on sight at this point if he knew his daughter's secret.
