Lilianna Belwiss
You asked for my opinion, the duellist thought, frowning in Gillian's direction. If you asked someone for an opinion on how military manoeuvres were going to play out, then you shouldn't complain if it wasn't as optimistic as expected. Someone had to present a cynical attitude rather than carelessly throwing away lives or not arranging logistics for an extended operation. Which lead her to be rather critical of this Ludwig's statement about villagers; surely the villagers proper should be kept here, where they were protected, whilst arranging soldiers with some armour as a decoy. It would bolster their efforts twofold: firstly, there would be no civilians to protect; secondly, the additional bodies on their side when the fighting started would hardly be amiss. It was a shame that to take over from the captain would be such a breach of protocol. But she'd taught Fanilly a lot, the girl should spot it.
