D'ren nodded and gestured dismissively, not only as though he was dismissing her, but also as though he did not care what she did. At this rate the heroes would snag victory from The Infamous if his people didn't start acting like the villainous scoundrels they were.

He looked down at the cat nuzzling his feet and sighed. "There there," he murmured, bending down to pick the cat up. He handed it to Doomlord. "Take care of her."

Then he turned and headed back down the hall.
