Name: Drake Venlin Epic Identity: Finch Age: 26 Faction: Epic Villain Ability: Drake has the ability to manipulate glass at a touch. He can't make it spring into existence from nothing but he can make it change shape and composition to some extent, giving him considerable versatility Weakness: Sufficient loud noise/vibrations can knock out his ability to manipulate glass. That and the stuff that usually knocks your standard Epic unconscious. Approaching that vibration threshold can cause him to lose control to some extent, though not completely. Personality: Drake is as you might expect. When the mask is on he is confident to the point of being cocky, with a slight penchant for the dramatic and putting on a show. Needless to say he loves making an entrance, or an exit, He also likes taking valuable things, or at least making the Epics work to stop him from taking those things so they have to earn a days pay. Outside of public appearances he is more...hostile, jealous to some extent of him being the villain rather than the Robin Hood-esque hero. And yet he can't stop himself either, not with the allure that comes with it and the possibility of the big score. He just can't sit back and let himself relax for long, not with the hope that one day he will succeed in a big way, and leave the entire city shocked at his success. Appearance: Drake usually wears casual clothes such as polo shirts and jeans, nothing too flashy that would make him stand out, while not looking like a total slob. He has close cropped brown hair and a light tan to go with it, and an above average muscle build from the work that he does. His costume is a bit more on the practical side, with a leather trenchcoat, a fedora, fingerless gloves, the obligatory mask, and specialized pants and shoes. Stylish yet practical, just what a villain should have. Background: His beginning was unremarkable, with his childhood fairly obscure by city standards. Was one of several siblings, had a mediocre education, with nothing outstanding about him.It was only when his powers developed that things changed. But by that time he had separated from his family, striking out on his own to earn his own path. In doing so he had fallen in with the wrong crowd, and that maintained itself even after he had gained his powers. Inevitably he came into conflict with the Epics that ran and oversaw the city, with a rough contact. Drake's powers seemed to have aspired him to rise higher, and he grudgingly accepted a role as the 'fall guy' to enforce the rule of the city. Which is the general status quo that he has settled into now. His efforts allowed him to obtain his own crew and network of individuals, while he gets to steal things and is occasionally stopped so the government can look good, or something like that. He lives with it for now, but someday that will change. He's sure of it.
