[color=00aeef][b]History:[/b][/color] Born and raised in England to a Welsh mother and an English father, Arthur grew up with a split nationality which could only be properly described as 'British'.  At home equally in any part of Great Britain, although his parents reside in the richer counties of the south, he has moved around several parts for education and work before settling in the southern, and affluent, city of Bath.

At a young age he refused the opportunity to attend a prestigious selective (grammar) school in the next town over, despite passing the exam he was almost forced to do by his primary school, on the grounds that he disagreed with the elitism of the whole affair.  His parents were both politically active and proudly called themselves social activists, despite their careers being traditionally the reserve of the very conservative and right-leaning upper classes.

He went to the University of Cambridge on a scholarship, his parents rich enough to pay his tuition in full so that he wasn't saddled with debt, and left with a First Class Honours in history before joining the department of History in the small, rural Welsh coastal town of Aberystwyth as a research lecturer.  He teaches primary school (7-11) children two days week and the rest he spends giving lecturers to undergraduates at the university or following up on his own research projects.

Conscious of the contact he has with students, children and other at risk groups, he immediately checked in with a doctor about the illness he had been experiencing to seek advice on how to best avoid spreading it if his ailment was infectious.  A day later and the people in bio-hazard suits appeared informing him that he was to be taken to a secure facility because his illness was more than it seemed.

[color=00aeef][b]Power:[/b][/color] Hydrokinesis - the ability to shape or control water.  While not a particularly original ability, it suits Arthur well due to its reliability and flexibility in almost all circumstances.  At the lowest level he can move small bodies of water (like a cup of water) but will be able to steadily increase the volume of water he can control as well as the precision to which he can control it, shape it and even change its state.[/hider]
