Aether Bridge academy sat upon the Mesa in the center of the island of Moloka'i, the otherwise picturesque landscape of undeveloped land and lush grass. In the center sat beautiful sleek academy, modern in every form. As only the best could do for the students who could quite literally dominate the world if they were to band together and attack. Yet this gleaming monument to peace and human triumph gave hope and prosperity to millions world wide, yet to more extreme groups it symbolized inhumans monstrous people who consorted with demons from another realm. However patrol's by the UN and the United States navy in close proximity kept any protesters to online rants or small public rally's. Yet these concerns were often forget as students argued about what to wear or talked of boys. Some spoke of the coming arena trials, the fall combat games were a contest of skill and mastery open to all. The winner's from each grade received a three day weekend pass to Honolulu or a direct entry into the Winter arena matches. With today the last day before classes start once again, the last new arrivals were to arrive to today. Some by helicopter others by boat, some had their summon bring them to the island. However they arrived them seemed to be in good spirits for the school year. Yet while the rest of school argued over who'd become the hottest over the summer or what new style of clothing was in. A more pressing matter had to be attended to, alone in the student council room Edge sat in a chair with Veronica behind her desk shooting glares at him. "You really aren't going to give up your silly idea's of wrong and right?" "No." The silver haired boy answered dog tags on his chest marking him as one of the military track students in the student discipline squad. The purple hair girl sighed. "And this is why you only have that summon as your friend. You never want to be a pal and let things slide." "I don't care what you say, rules are made by the staff not you. They break them, we bring them in. Simple as that." He answered, eyes following her as she stepped out from behind her desk, clenching her fists. "You... You are so much damn trouble. Ugh! You are lucky your strong and cute." She thrust a finger at his nose. Edge thought about not pissing her off further, then decide screw it he was already here and she couldn't beat him a fight. "Bitch, I'm adorable." He answered scooting his chair back and getting up. Her jaw dropped as the confused woman stared in rage at the boy leaving her meeting. "I didn't say you could go!" She yelled as he opened the door. Edge paused just a second to look at at her. "And I didn't ask for permission, I need to go check in and meet my dorm mate for this year. See ya at the meeting princess." He shut the door leaving a pissed Veronica standing alone. Meanwhile arriving students would find a machine to input their student ID number and receive an ID card, a key to their dorm, and class list. Staff waited around to help students find rooms and show them to other facilities if need be. Edge entered the hall, his practice sword and duffel bag over his shoulder he'd gotten back from a training camp in the American south east. While the Australian accented boy might not have sounded it he did have dual citizenship as he'd been born in the states. While he waited for the machine to give him his room number and class schedule he took a look at the others students. Auriel had ordered him to make at least one friend this year or she'd personally fly him out to the middle of the ocean and drop him in. The angel lacked any form of subtly or finesse, he figured she meant so with that he hoped his room mate would be more agreeable than the senior from last year he'd been roomed with.
