Elemental and Arcane affinities are the two main branches of magic. Elemental affinities includes fire, water, earth, wind, and electricity. Arcane affinities include Angel, Demon, Cosmic, Mind, and more. Basically Arcane is the "other" category. 

Water elemental users could heal a bit, especially for poisons and such. Earth elemental users could use herbs and such. But I suppose that the most classic form of magic healing would come from Angel magic.
