Hayato's Research Part 3: Occult club!? Hayato took what he discovered and headed out with his packed up laptop to report to someone, though he wasnt too sure who he'd turn to. Despite trusting Haas, he hasn't seen everything first hand. Hayato scratched his head as he walked around the Academy, laptop under his arm and the gauntlet clipped onto his belt via some scrap metal from his old duel disk he took apart. He planned to make his way to find the first person he could find that would be part of the investigation group to report as he didn't have any better ideas. When it came to just showing what interesting things he found out, he was on the fence on about information he found, even after facing Zorc After some time looking around for clues from students without any success, considering that nobody really hangs around the dorms for long, he made his way to the cafeteria for a couple reasons. For one, he was getting a bit hungry. Second, he remembered seeing a bulletin board in there as well. Upon arrival, he quickly bought himself some sushi as it was something he could finish quickly and reminded him of home. He then moved over to take a quick look at the bulletin board, trying to see if he couldn't find anything of interest. He found a couple of notes of interest. "Wanted: Blue-eyes White Dragon!" Hayato noticed, with a cute little papercraft stickied to the bottom of the note. Furthermore, he noticed a shopping list signed by Transformer. A note below it said "Transformer left his shopping list here?" Most of the notes seemed to be strange trading offers, such as "Willing to trade a Skull Servant for a Dark Magician." After reading that one, he didn't pay any attention to the other offers and checked the rest of the notes. Shortly after he found one of interest: "Meet up at the Ritual Classroom for the Occult club. Searching for new members!" Hayato laughed at the idea of anything occult, but then realized maybe they know a few rumors about cards coming to life and quickly made plans to go there. Hayate's Hunt for Blue-eyes Earlier, before Hayato arrived at the cafeteria... "Okay, we're here, so you said Gold, Return of Bling, right? I heard that's an expensive set... well, in that case, I better just grab one and maybe follow it up with another set of different packs. I'll make an educated guess and say... Oh, I know! I'll get a set of Shining Victories!" Hayate nodded and walked up to the counter, kindly asking for the packs. Although she remembered that the gold set was 3 separate packs, this was one big one. "Hey, Haas, I thought magazines said this set was 3 mini packs, not one big one?" Hayate asked Haas curiously as she pulled him along towards her dorm room, avoiding Vincent for the time being. "Oh uh, I dunno... I don't really read magazines? The school could just be shuffling around the packs or something..." Haas stumbled forward as Hayate dragged him along, scratching the back of his head. He gave a cursory glance back at the table where Vincent was seated. Apparently, they started a duel. Wasn't Hayate going to watch? After a short trip back to her dorm room, he could clearly see the desk had a rather large amount of paper on it. "S-sorry for dragging you here, I think I prefer opening them here, rather than there," Hayate told an obvious lie to Haas, hoping he didn't question it and started opening the packs slowly, sorting the cards on her bed. Naturally, she was very happy about finding her Blue-Eyes and even cards that could help with her deck. She was sitting pretty, or at least she'd say that from her limited knowledge via old magazines "Wow, pretty impressive... I don't usually get nearly as lucky as you do, haha..." the boy with him laughed nervously, indifferent to Hayate's lie or her dragging him here. He pulled out a pack of his own and opened it up, seeing the first card in it being Wind-Up Magician. "...I, uh, think I'll take that back." Hayate quickly pulled out her deck and started to make slight improvements, occasionally asking Haas for advice during the process. He asked the same of with her as they spent their time improving their decks with the cards they got.
