[@Silvan Haven] relative to what? If we keep comparing it to real currencies (inadvisable), it's considerably stronger than the Yen, the Ruble or the Rupee. Inflation's probably been going on for a lot longer around here too- But a Federation credit is still stronger against today's dollar than today's dollar is against a 1900 dollar. Not to mention the price of goods have probably changed quite a bit, given that production is faster and cheaper.
