The voice over the announcement made Kerrigan want to grimace, this Jack fellow sounded arrogant in the likes think back to her experiences with Narud and his smug ass impaling her on a blade. Maybe she would fancy impaling Jack, maybe she could try and build up enough energy to blow his head off his shoulders, though she highly doubted she had that much energy in this new world. Previously she'd be able to psiionically strafe entire planets for other consciousnesses, now she could only barely detect all the ones in this town. This place was rather infuriating.
Her heels made reverberating clicks in the mostly empty space of the office area as her eyes surveyed the three people already there. Being the only real male there she could tell who Jack was, as far as she could tell the little girl's name was Cedar, she was the only one without a guarded mind. That meant Jack and the Woman were both from places that knew it paid to keep your mind closed off from prying sources, no fun. "Sarah Kerrigan, no I'm not here to eviscerate your flesh and suck out your brains but the idea is tempting." When she got up to the desk with the growing crowd she drew her wing-shaped claws in to take up less room and brushed her hair-like antennae back behind her ear. She let her wrist gently rest on her hips as her other hand just hung limply down her other side. "I'm here to risk life and limb, offer something to the fledgling town as you say. I can read your mind if you don't guard it so I'd learn how to do that really quick if you aren't already familiar with how." She glanced down at Cedar with a very small smile, only to have it gone from her face in a second. "You got around 50 people living in the town right from what I can tell, the water will run out soon and the fish won't last much longer than next week, should probably look for food first." She suggested. The Event stripped her of almost all of her energy but she still at least had the same commanding aura about her. If it weren't for the fact she was answering to Jack it wouldn't be too hard to mistake her for the one calling the shots here.
