Double post, soz. Heres the new character, as accepted by Ari. Would you mind updating the 0th post, [@t2wave], by removing Serena and putting Thalia in instead?
Name: Thalia Arvoy Age (Magical Girl): 8 Age (Before Magical Girl): 24 Gender: Female Gender (Before Magical Girl): Female Appearance:
Disguised: Monster Girl: Demon of Lothreen:
Specialization: Beast and Fire Weapon: The first weapon Thalia carries with her are named Venari and Confio respectively. They are a pair of telescopic daggers, able to as short as a knife and as long as a shortsword with a flick. They provide enough destructive capability to be used in combat, but also contain the precise lethality needed for the killing blows. Her second weapon, though it shouldn't really be classed as a weapon, is a pendant of the full moon, with a deep red gemstone centre, burning like an inferno. It acts as a magic amplifier, and serves to increase Thalia's power. Power:
Third Eye: Not just some piddly magic sense, the Third Eye allows Thalia to see magic all around her. From spells, to the Overcity, she has the ability to gaze into magic and understand it - both transformed and in her normal, human form.
Perks:
Dual Weapon: Along with her daggers came a pendant, with a pale inset gemstone, and a heart of burning crimson. Having it with her amplifies her magical power, increasing bonds with creatures and improving the strength of her other spells. Flexibility: Thanks to her Beast specialisation, Thalia has a much greater range of movement than ordinary humans and even magical girls, almost as though she had somewhat beast like physiology. Fake Parents: From out of nowhere came two people, claiming to be Thalia's parents. At first, she thought it some sick joke, since her parents had died years prior, however it soon became clear that the two truly did believe that they were, in fact, her parents. They were quite ordinary, named Joseph and Charlotte Arvoy, had the documentation to prove that they were related, - including DNA tests - had decent jobs, and good lives. However, Thalia is still determined to figure out how and why exactly they appeared. Healing Artefact: Named the Instrument of Incandescent Dreams by her patron, this ornately decorated wooden flute has the minor ability to heal people and animals. While it is far from the best source of medical attention, it can heal close to anything short of death, including mental scarring. The reason she was given it? Ask Lothreen. Just kidding. Not even her God knows why she decided to hand it off to her. Purification Artefact: Less of an artefact and more of an upgraded dog whistle, Thalia was bestowed a small whistle, silver in colour, that when blown emits a high pitched sound that even she cant hear. The sound tunes itself to whatever monsters are in its radius, causing them discomfort and pain until they remove themselves from the area. Interestingly enough, any of the creatures she has summoned or are bonded to her need only be thought of while blowing the whistle, and they will come running no matter their previous engagement. Gifted: Thalia is a lot more in-tune with her creatures than other Beast specialised magical girls. She has an aptitude for finding new ways to incorporate her abilities into battle, from using animals, and sometimes even beasts, as distractions or combat allies, to flying around carried by an empowered eagle. According to her, the possibilities are endless. Demon of Lothreen: Put enough pressure or distress onto Thalia, and she'll subconsciously hit the panic button. The moment she does, she becomes a violent, untamed beast, with considerably more power than her usual magical girl form. It still performs its magic, and still uses its animal companions, but has no more goals in mind than to destroy that which placed her under such duress.
Monster Girl Features:
Nonstandard Limbs: Thalia's monstrous form surprisingly isn't all that bad. Her hands and feet have been shifted into paws, although she has remained able to hold items and the like, covered in dark fur, bottomed by pads and ending in claws. Two fuzzy ears have appeared on her head, several large, fluffy tails sprout from her coccyx, whiskers grow from her face, and her eyes are more finely tuned to detect motion, as well as allow her to see in the dark, although this has resulted in her having to wear glasses both in form and hidden. Warrior: Its less the drive for battle, and more the drive to hunt. Lothreen's magic has given Thalia an insatiable need to hunt, craving for the exhilaration that comes from the final kill. Feeling a creature die, harvesting it, connecting with it in its final moments, knowing you brought this about you. That you are powerful. Broken Reincarnation: Lothreen hasn't really had experience with a monster girl before, though she assumes it'll be a-okay should she need to reincarnate them. Quite the contrary, mind you, as her inexperience leads an intricate, convoluted resurrection that results in imperfections, amnesia, and some periodic local power shortage. Second Specialisation: How the power of magic burns. While the fox isn't a wolf, it is within the Canidae family. An inferno flows through Thalia, like that of a Kitsune, and with it she can control fire alongside of beasts. Just something for Lothreen to faun over even more.
Patron: Lothreen Patron Benefits:
Divine Competence: The skill of Lothreen flows through her champions, giving them skills in hunting and similar. Usually this includes being able to track animals, monsters and people more easily, proficiency in setting traps, better accuracy with ranged weapons, the knowledge of how to properly kill and harvest an animal, etc. Paragon: The God of the Hunt is no slacker, and chasing down prey requires the hunter to be in peak physical form. To that end, Lothreen has bestowed upon her Champions greater physical attributes to endure the task of the hunt. Magical Overload: In any other circumstances, a Champion of Lothreen wouldn't have so much energy. But, as is with the Whimsical Huntress, her curiosity got the best of her. Now Thalia has much more magical power than she knows what to do with, which would have been a good thing... If it hadn't turned her into a Monster Girl. Mystic Might: Thanks to that surplus of energy, however, Thalia finds her magic more potent, and easier to cast. Whether it is a blessing or a curse, she can never be quite sure, but at least it helps in her duties, both fighting monsters and serving her Patron. Physical Prowess: Thanks to Lothreen's divine assistance, Thalia is much more agile than she might have been otherwise. Whether it was because her Patron though agility was good, or because she liked how it fit her canine motif, we might never know.
Patron Drawbacks:
Unknown: Lothreen is... Well, quite the unknown God. She claims to have once been worshipped well, hence her resources, but after Artemis came into the picture she was quickly forgotten. Not even scriptures about her exist, and trust me, Thalia looked. Hard. Trickster: Some might wish for a playful God. Probably not the kind of playful Lothreen brings to the table. She is somewhat of a sadistic Goddess, and likes to through her Champions dangerous, difficult, and occasionally lethal challenges to see what they make of them, sometimes resulting in their deaths. She never learnt about work health and safety, but at the very least she pays pretty well to those that complete her ridiculous and whimsical challenges. Monstrous Form: All that excess magic that was given to Thalia? Well, it transformed her into a Monster girl, which sounds awesome in writing, but really isn't that fun in the absolute slightest. However, it does have some perks, which is really all that matters. Clueless: :Lothreen isn't exactly the most knowledgeable Patron out there in the working of magic, and the magical world itself. The amount of advice she can give is limited, though she hardly gives meaningful advice full stop, and so is essentially more like a fountain of power and a decent friend, but not a particularly useful Patron.
Fighting Style: Thalia utilises her Beast empowerment mostly in combat. She can summon creatures to fight beside her, or to act as distractions. She also empowers herself with the power of her creatures, like giving herself higher leaps, and the ability to glide. Her main strategy is to move quickly, avoid attacks, then duck in for brief but deadly strikes. She uses fire to manipulate her enemy into the positions she wants them, then uses her animalistic agility to land hard and lethal hits. She also makes the most of her Third Eye to those ends, seeing the magic before it occurs in order to evade it effectively. Stats (Untransformed): STR: 4 AGI: 6 VIT: 3 MAG: 3 LCK: 3 Stats (Monster Girl): STR: 10 AGI: 14 VIT: 10 MAG: 10 LCK: 4 States (Demon of Lothreen): STR: 12 AGI: 15 VIT: 12 MAG: 10 LCK: 4 Personality: Thalia is a generally kind, cheerful girl, with a good amount of friends. One of her most favoured philosophies is that you achieve what your effort deserves, which is why she always tries to do the most she can. While she loves animals, one of her favourite past times is hunting. In her opinion, it saves money, and gives her the resources to sell and cook with without spending too much. While she is far from a cheap skate, she does like a bargain, and will try and get the best deal possible, whenever possible, though her friends find that she is hardly the best haggler around. She may be kind, but is not above violence when necessary. Sometimes people need to be taught a lesson, and to that end she is more than willing to hurt people. Despite that, she has a good sense or right and wrong, and knows when something needs to be handle by people better equipped than herself. History: Lothreen was somewhat loathed to employ another magical girl to start with. But monster began to prowl, and seemingly none of the other girls were interested in dealing with them. Despite her reluctance, she searched for someone with potential, and came across Thalia, a minor athlete and avid hunter with a strong sense of justice. She was as good a candidate as any, and so was selected as the new girl. As the contract proceeded, however, Lothreen felt a tinge of curiosity. "What would happen if I pumped this girl full of magical energy?" she pondered. Her lack of knowledge of things of that nature led to one conclusion. She should test it out. And so was born Thalia, the Monster Girl. She smote the beasts, and found herself employed by the Whimsical Huntress herself. Incantation: "Only the tenacity of the wild can satiate my rabid hunger!" Additional Info: N/A

Type: Deity Name: Lothreen, God of the Hunt, The Whimsical Huntress

Personality: Lothreen has a tendencies to be austere with her explanations. She is somewhat playful, and likes to tease her Champions, however when it comes to their safety she isn't one to care all too much. The extent of her knowledge is... Frighteningly limited, however she oft plays it off with a lighthearted spirit. Even still, she is a dangerous patron; being riddling in her methods, and usually quite callous with what she throws at her followers. And, despite being God of the Hunt, she has a certain fondness of animals, and especially cute ones, and especially wolves - placing Thalia in good favour. Lothless doesn't much have a temper, though she is intolerant of people that intentionally use words to hurt people. Instead of anger, she displays an almost sadistic cruelty, less attacking and punishing, but more so slowly torturing her opponents. History: The Whimsical Huntress is far from notorious. Seemingly, she barely exists, but she does occasionally give some snippets of her past, and from where she came from. Apparently, once, she was well known in the olden days of Greece, until "Artemis" usurped her position as God of the Hunt. Since then, she lived an anonymous life, desperately attempting to regain a position as a God. For a while she drifted, however in the past few decades she has taken quite a fancy to bestowing power onto young girls, which proved to be a fun, intriguing, and profitable endeavour, as it meant gaining a follower, prophet, and toy all in one package. Resources: Lothreen only employs a few magical girls at a time, since having too many distracts her from the entertainment of watching them carry out her whims. Right now, Thalia is the only one located in America (the other two being in Britain and Russia respectively). She isn't the wealthiest of Gods, but one way or another she always seems to manage to pay them all on time. In magical coins, of course, or in items both mundane and magical.
