As Kanako strolled through the forest, she had no idea that she was being stalked by the three figures, especially with how fog had suddenly settled in around her. She was uncomfortable with the fact. She could've just blew the fog away from her but there was a ban on using their power for this night. She now knew the reason why. No doubt the older students would use their power to try to scare them off. And this fog must be the work of one of them. "Be careful. Don't walk too far ahead. We don't want to be separated at a time like this. I expect something to pop out any second now," she said to the boy. "Ah, that reminds me, I haven't asked for your name yet, have I? My name's Kanako, wind elementalist. How about you?" After they walked and chatted some more, their tranquil walk was suddenly interrupted with a loud BOOM right in front of them. Something big had crashed into the ground, giving a mini earthquake at its impact. "W-what was that?" Kanako said. No sound was heard right afterwards, making her even more nervous. She could feel her heart beating furiously in its cage. And then, she saw it. The creature standing right in front of them. "...O-Oh God w-what is that?" Her eyes widened from fright at what she saw. It was a giant, spider-like thing looking straight at them. It lacked a face for sure but she knew perfectly well that it was staring at them. "Get caught and you're eliminated from the run. Good luck!" She didn't even need to be told that by the voice. "R-run!" she shouted. She quickly grabbed Jideh's hand and dragged him along with her. They had to put as much distance as they could from the beast. T-this isn't funny at all! W-we can actually die here! T-they're supposed to merely prank us, not try to kill us! [@Kalleth]
