A book series all ye mateys would enjoy be Jim Butcher's [i]Cinder Spires[/i].  First book be a little bit of a long read, yargh, and I still eagerly await the parlay of the second book release!  Arrrrgh, plunder Captain Grimm's booty I shall!  :)
